I'm 54 and just became a BW fan within the last years of Mr Wooden's life on earth. I say on earth out of respect because he spoke about life in heaven so much. Walton as he said himself was injured so much of his carer,and that's why i don't think of him as one of the all time greatest. You have to be in a game to make a difference he wasn't in enough. Sorry Big Guy

Walton is the greatest announcer ever, similar to vitale he just LOVES and appreciates the game, he doesnt take it for granted, he praises greatness and makes you excited and feel lucky to be able to watch what youre seeing. I wish he could call more games
for true fans go watch the clip of Magic vs Cavs 2003 christmas day game and listen to how bill loved watchin rookie lebron go up against 23 year old TMac when he was really great. AWESOME how he makes you realize youre witnessing greatness.

No rehearsal on this one, it was one-take with no edits, Jonny D nailed it. Incidentally it was Bill Walton who suggested we do the interview on the basketball court, after we had approached him near the locker rooms...
