The world has probably moved past the stage where NO change is possible. Too little has been done over the past several decades, and no matter WHAT the govt does now, the result will be bad. It's not a matter any more of picking a good outcome, but of picking the "least worst" outcome. People should work with the govt instead of criticising it for not getting a "good" result. I don't think a good result is possible at this point - either we have a bad result, or we have a really bad result.
