As a musician. Technically, one could put the clef anywhere on the staff and all that it would mean is that the line that the two dots are straddling is the F below middle C. the same goes for the treble clef. all that that would mean is that he line that the clef is on is the G above middle C. In music there are tons of rules and twice as many ways to break them.

@zorg440 yeah, your wrong. the celfs have been drawn in that standard way with the 5 lines for hundreds of years. The only people to use different clefs were medieval monks for chants. if you want to go past the range that the standard clef notation allows you draw those notes with extra lines under or over them off the standard 5 lines ; you don't move the clef. I have never seen any music with clefs the way you are talking about.

And work on your music history. the monks didn't use clefs AT ALL. there were FOUR lines for their notation. And not each line was a set pitch. the music was more as a guide to where the contour of the melody should go.  NOT exactly what to sing. fixed DO didn't come around until Well temperament.

The fact that it was "misplaced' is a mistake that was probably made by the logo designer and not 'caught' by anyone till this guy. It's like my tattoo artist drawing the tattoo with the note stems on the wrong side...it's just something I had to inform him of nicely so he could correct it. Actually, that is not a "wrong" placement for the bass clef. Though it is an uncommon one. The bass clef, (also known as the "F" Clef) simply determines the location of the F below A 440 in the clef. So, the placement of the clef below its traditional position simply moves the whole clef down. This, actually, isn't an unheard-of practice, as it helps augment the range of certain instruments with low-to-mid ranges read without having to resort to ledger lines. It is not "wrong."

You're right, it most likely WAS an accident. But, the guy in this video is dead-set on it being "wrong" when that particular positioning could, and in fact, has been used in instrumental music for the sake of reducing ledger lines. Although, the uploader himself would never know that if his only instrument is the electric bass. Although, I won't assume that that is the case.

Also, I don't quite understand what you mean about it making it "dissonant" (which is what I assume you meant by "dissonat"). The consonance or dissonance of a piece depends entirely on what the composer writes and what notes are played together. The position of the clef doesn't change how the notes sound together; only how the performer reads them. An A 440 written in a standard bass clef sounds exactly the same as an A 440 written in this lowered variation of the bass clef.
