@Harky88 I am familiar with the "fluff" of the inquisition, thank you very much. As the "title" states Adeptus Custodes that can be played as a "counts as" Grey Knights Army. I didn't make the army, however if I had I would say "it is my models, I can do whatever the heck I want to with them". I assume that you are joking with the Grey Knights are grey comment... as the grey knights are SILVER, once upon a time they were grey...

@Harky88 Grey knights armor isn't grey...or silver...or any of the like. In the codex, it says that their armor glistens and shines, not grey. So their armor could be shiny-fucking pink. And the army isn't even gray knights!!! The units just count as Knights...I've been playing warhammer for years and I've only seen five GK armies, but only one had silver knights. The rest were all gold, black, or dark red. CHILL OUT. And besides, in warhammer, you are the leader of YOUR army.

well first off, playing what that small amount will make you lose every game you play. say in pounds it would cost you 65£

because they are very few, so say you buy 2 squads of GK which is 5 that has justicar and flamer, so right there its 165 pts and grand master is 145 pts so 165+165+145 = 475 pts just that.

to even start an army u have to have 2 troop choices and 1 hq. grey knights are exspensive because there all metal minis.

I don't like the GW one either. I bet there will be a forge world model soon. I like it just because it is not just a tank killer but a monstrous creature killer. it is great to do a wound but if the creature is not instakilled then it is nice to be able to do up to three wounds (4 on the charge)...

And there is always the chance of a mis or a failure to pen...

Sorry to be so fussy, but it would be cUstodius, the keepers, the guardians. Still the term is not correct and "Adeptus Custos" would be more appropriate since custodius doesn't exist. But I admit it's more classy to say "custodius". If we wanted to be correct and keep and cool-sounding name, we could say "Adeptus Custodiens", or "Initiati Custodiens", the Protecting Followers.

GW has a habit of making up words and phrases that have some basis in actual language but never really translate correctly. The "Custodes" is another example of this. Since there are numerous examples of this in the 40k universe I try to suspend disbelief.

It all seems based in latin or some derivation there of, but in truth there are a couple of guys just making shit up "cause it sounds cOoL" ...LOL

Thanks for the feedback though. I enjoy an educated view on this fanciful stuff.

Adeptus Custodes arnt Grey Knights, theres no rules for the Custodes since theyre meant to be tougher than marines.

Is the army based on Grey Knights rules ?

Grey Knights are tougher than marines. They are the purest gene seed, the toughest training and the best of the best equipment. They are the closest thing outside a standard marine to the Adeptus Cust. Since there are no rules for them you can base them on whatever you want. If you want to base yours on something else feel free. He is not saying that they ARE grey knights. He is semply playing them as a COUNTS AS grey knights army .
