@TheBazman111 Not really. Tarja didn't write any of the songs, she had no stage presence, and, oh yeah, she got kicked out. Floor writes her material, can hit both classic soprano notes and can also belt a rock vocal, thus giving her more versatility and range, and is usually the leader of her bands. Tarja was just a voice, with little else behind it.

That was the key here. And in her solo albums, she only writes half the songs, usually never any of her singles. Also, show me Tarja's range. All of her range is "high notes" and "higher notes". Floor is able to hit notes as high as Tarja, but can change her voice to sound like a rocker, or what's needed.
From 5:07 - 5:35 that sounds incredibly similar to one of Rhapsody's famous melodies from Symphony of Enchanted Lands Part II. Even the modulations are the same. O.O

I love this song so much. the ending especially; it's so fast-paced and really draws me into the song. Tarja's in her prime here, and Annette just doesn't compare.
That's not to say that Annette's all bad. She sounds all right, and she carries her voice well in her own way, but Tarja's vocal strength just suits the symphonic metal genre better.
I prefer Tarja myself, but some of the old stuff is a bit Wagnerian for my tastes. The plus side to having the new singer is that they sound a lot less Wagnerian now.
