I love Ambrose! Badly played by Healy, but in his defence sloewr balls were quite unknown at the time. Actually, not a particularly good ball, (it's too slow and would get smashed these days), but nice vid for Healy's effort and having a laugh afterwards.

The greatest walker was Brian Lara. You did not have to appeal, he just walked. In fact the greatest walkers came from the west indies

In my opinion the West Indies have been the most sporting natured team in world cricket....thats why Brian Lara went nuts when an indian questioned a catch on the boundary a few years back because he couldnt believe the fact they were trying to cheat when he had been so generous throughout. You are utterly correct about Gilchrist who seems to have taken on an almost saintly role in cricket for 'wallking' to a blatant catch and he probably only did that as he knew the publicity it would gain him.

Brian Lara was not only the best batsman I ever saw but the best sportsman too... I remember one time when he the fielders were appealing to the umpire, he himself resolved the case by walking back. At that time, Lara made an impression on me which I can never forget. When Yousuf made a world record he was the one who came to congratulate him. When Ricky Ponting struck a double century against the WI in 2003 Lara and the whole West Indies team clapped. What an amazing character Brian Lara.
