Great video! Looks like you caught 14G, he always has a buttload of coils in his consist, always a neat one to catch, I've only shot it a few times though, surprising cuz he's yet another daily manifest outta Conway. Not sure what the westbound manifest was, from the looks of its consist and its short length, I'd say it was 13G, usually has a huge block of covered hoppers mixed with everything else. Haha last time me, NS, and hunters were in the same 100yd radius...I almost got SHOT! True story!
I travel around to different motels where you can watch trains from the room windows. I stay at about a dozen or more and let the kids swim while I watch trains.
Maybe you should get on a web server with a web cam, like the one at the Horseshoe Curve, and show the world thar fantastic view out your window 24/7 This way when you are out of town, you can open your site still sleep. You'll never miss all those Conrail locomotives. Happy Railfaning to you. ;)
Frist I thought, those two men where track workers. Since the trains where moving slow. But after viewing it again. The one guy had a hunters tag in his jacket, and the other a gun!! Hunters, Guns, and railroads don't mix! Be careful, out there friend.
Thanks! I were a safety during hunting season and stay near the ROW. Hunters had guys positioned along the tracks also.
Wish I recording out my window a few minutes ago... east bound freight went by with 35 cars... ohhh... and in the lead were 7 NS and 2 Conrail engines. :-(
They've been stacking the power CONSIDERABLY over the last couple days from what I heard from my buddy when he was out there 2 days ago. 21J had a constant 6 units, double his normal 2-3 unit lashups. I know 21Q had 6 one day, and a few more. 10N is ALWAYS stacked with power, usually a few geeps and old sweet units at the tail end of the consist...wonder why thats one of my favorite Pittsburgh Line trains...
Many comments but your comments are always my favorites!!!!

Thanks for the information! Much appreciated!
My dear nelolaura is busy with exams - no time for chats or comments - guess I'll have to watch trains!

On occassion I will see an eastbound out of Altoona with six to ten units. I wonder if some of those are units leaving the Juniata shops.
