Slovenia was NEVER behind the iron courtain. It was part of Yugoslavia, the mildest communistic dictatorship, with no ties to Soviet Union.

Yugoslavians had a great leader Marshall Tito (1892-1980) who kicked Stalin and Americans in the ass. Borders were open in both directions.

The iron courtain started with our neighbours, communistic Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania, all part of Warszaw pact countries.
