@hitmonlee1599 The words make perfect sense. It honors the three aspects of the Mother Goddess--the young, innocent Maiden, the loving, nurturing Mother, and the old, wise Crone. Paganism originated with the cave-men--scientists have found many cave paintings depicting Goddess worship similar to what is still practiced today. Obviously, our religion has changed and adapted since then--anything that cannot change becomes stagnant--but the core beliefs, such as a Goddess and God remain the same.
