could somebody tell me what video shoot the frame from :38 is from?? I had that poster on my wall and I want to buy it again for my older brothers whom I inherited it from back in 1981. I believe it's from the Some Girls era.
It was first played as early as 1970, when Mick Taylor first joined the group and was recording with Mick Jagger in London. Recording on "Waiting on a Friend" began in late 1972 through early 1973 in Kingston, Jamaica, during the Goats Head Soup sessions when the band still had Taylor as a member. His guitar piece made it to the overdubbing sessions in April 1981 when the song was selected by Tattoo You producer Chris Kimsey as one the band could re-work for the album
This is so deep so much going on here.. on another note:
So I messed up sorry I live with it every day and try 2 go on that's all I can do.. This iz gonna make me have a heart attack or something I better go meow>>
1970? are you kidding. great times . stones.. weed... beer was flowing easy.. very young and naive but somewhat the hipster. yeah. good stuff. among many others of course.
nutsbee ohno(Japanease singer song writer): Can't you hear Mick's tears and spirits. This melody is the greatest of Mick's mentality. So, I also drop my tear along with this melody. Life is full of tears and smiles. I know everyone to be encouradged with smile from the cordial mind. MIck Jagger (and also I ) has found the preasure of the life.
20 thousand views this shining thru to many homes around the world, without the YT being paid to promote.. just plain awesome .. 2:18 very touching, yes ?? ... I'm just waiting....
thanks for posting this, this is one of those songs that still just gets me in the heart even after all these years, like hearing it for the first time. Love the photo montage, too :)
the picture @ 0:54 has been on my family's coffee table in a rolling stone book for years... I can't listen at the moment, but I absolutely love these pictures...
... btw, this team will stay in history forever as the most awesome team in rock and roll history, just like Bogie and McCall in the movie industry ... hmmm... with their ups and downs and still together, these two are remarkable !!! CU...
@jaggerhasabigsti Sorry to reply so belatedly, but where indeed? All gone. I heard that 'the Stones people had got to him'. Really? Funny how often vids disappear off of you tube and then reappear with crappier picture quality and back-to-zero viewer figures.I especially miss MrLetitBleed's early version of 'shattered'
i like the edge

Sounds like 72, 73 Jagger. His voice was deeper, more enunciated in 81...
This is definately the original vocal. Jagger played around with falsetto alot in the early-mid 70s.....
