my only critique is 0:05 ...i unno those hind legs aren't doing it for me...but the movement is very realistic. The up and down motions of a horse when they walk was precisly captured <3 all in all fantastic work!

If I could give you a tip, I would say that the head is a bit... unphotogenic ;) it's round and needs more sharp edges.

BUT maybe this animation was made to capture the movement, and not the exact artistic design

its hard to do a mane and tail and if your like doing animation on a fur animal its easy cause if you mess up it doesnt show up that well and for a mane, if u mess up, its gonna show.

The main reason animators leave out manes and tails on horses, like any other long hair, is for simplicity. The hair has it's own dynamics, as it were. It moves somewhat with the rest of the body, but its movement is unique as well. And hair is just damn hard to animate. XD
