  • großer gott! es ist so intim - so persönlich - so irrsinnig! wo sind diese stimmen heute? die berühren? die be/verrücken? wunderschön! DANKE!

  • Extemporal interpretation between K. Ferriers voice and Walter with the Vienna. It is the utmost touching musical moment without the pitfalls of being sentimental. A creation (not a re-creation) with breathing music feelings and a memorable dialogue between the orchestra and the contralto. Ferriers diction which permits to understand each word is incorporating musical accents towards voice coloration, musical notes and complete words and give a marvelous tension and dynamic to Mahler.

  • When she sings, I can feel the fire in in her. She´s never been forgotten. What a voice!!!!! Гениально????!

  • Гениально!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ferrier's singing was always bracingly honest; her aim seems to have been to draw the listener at once into the composer's heart. I have never been distracted by the "craft" of her intrepretation, as I often am with Fischer-Dieskau or Schwarzkopf -- artists for whom I nevertheless have much respect and affection.

  • This song tears at your heart. Kathleen Ferrier was the ultimate singer and she was at her best in Mahler. Every song from Kindertotenlieder is eternal.

  • wunderschoenes lied, ich kannte kaum etwas von kathleen ferrier, aber ich muss gestehen dass ich begeistert bin, danke fuer das video!
