Speaking of movie 2, the final hug scene is cut off in the last second, but their big hug is shown -- on a special (and cute) bonus poster released with the movie. You can see it on the CCS wiki if you google. It was from one of the magazines. Rare in that only 2 copies even exist on the net. It's a huge 2 panel poster.

Very emotional ending...sniff sniff.... But there's a second movie following this, so its not over yet! And even in that movie ending, the final scene of all is actually released in bonus art in a book!

What's the significance of the Bear? Sorry, I haven't seen this series and so don't know the story.

@LedokolDX There's significance to the bears :). They both got kits to make a bear for the person they liked in an earlier episode. It's based on a story that if two people who like each other make a bear for each other, give it to the person they like, and the receiver names it after them, then they will be a couple forever. Syaoran and Sakura originally were making them to give to Yukito, but in the end Syaoran gives his to Sakura, but Sakura had already given hers to Yukito.

@animeholiic yea this is the ending to the WHOLE series... but theres a movie that finishes the story for us so its not so bad. (You might luv what happens with the nameless card! ;) ) but this series was just one part of the whole picture, if u wanna see more sakura and syaoran romance/magic then watch tsubasa and xxxholic since both of them are two sides of the same story.

God, I had to stop watching it to avoid crying, Sakura Card Captor is the anime that will be in my heart for the rest of my life. The ending is so lovely and specially cute, such a kid's romance thing, can't exist anything cuter

@francescam18 in the manga Li promise to come back after going to hongkong for some reason..and time goes by sakura now is in middle school...she's preparing for school when she saw Li waiting for her outside her house while holding the teddy bear...and then they hug each other, and promise to stay with each other forever..

@florencelogarta You should try reading the Tsubasa Chronicles manga. It's not a continuation of Cardcaptor Sakura but the main characters are fourteen year old Sakura and Syaoran from another world! There is an animé as well but the manga is better. Lots more cute Sakura x Syaoran moments to enjoy!

In the aftermath, Syaoran confesses his love for her, but Sakura is unsure how to respond. When he tells her that he is returning to Hong Kong, Sakura finds herself hurting and upset. After running into several of her friends, she realizes that it is because she loves Syaoran too. She rushes to the airport to tell him and he promises to return when he has taken care of some things. At the end of the series, he meets Sakura a year later having moved to Tomoeda permanently

I feel so sad when I watch this...because I ADORED CCS. (hence why I bought season one and two!) but its terrible when one of youre favorite shows end..But, this was a pretty good endings...And and and! There's movies! And and and! Even though its set in a different universe there's Tsubasa! Because you know, elementary kids planning their futures together is kinda scary...SO! Clamp made it all up to us (and their wallets) in the form of Tsubasa Chronicles! YAY!
