In the book of Esther (in the Bible) people became Jews by CHOICE. To be a Jew is to believe in the God of the Torah/Bible. The difference between Jews and Christians is that the former are believers by faith AND works.
Lets also keep in mind that "speaking in tongues" and "the gift of tongues" are two totally different things. The first edifies the Holy Spirit and the other is a gift of speaking an Earthly language to promote the word of God. I know that confusion can arise simply by the use of the word "tongue", but both instances (speaking in tongues, and "gift of tongues"...which needs an interpreter if no one can speak the language) are quite different.

I cannot understand why anyone would attend a church that edify's itself by critisizing all others. Ya thats right ...you are the only ones who have it together. I guess you and your congregation will have heaven all to yourselves.
dude i agree. nobody's perfect it's a fact of life. no matter how great you might feel you still always have work to do. nobody has the right to judge, not even a pastor. it's called love and acceptance.

"you can't judge me for dressing like a prostitute and tempt your man", "you can't judge me for having a one-night-stand every other week"... blablabla. Guess what? If you are a Christian and you do these things I HAVE a right to judge you, and you me for that matter. Christians judge amongst themselves. The unbelievers that are without are judged by God. Read your Bible once in a while.
i don't really understand why you're arguing with me. i'm assuming we believe the same thing, and love the same God. that's really all that matters. but if you want to start throwing scripture at me, take a look at romans 14:10.
