The TALGO 100 % Spanish has gained the contest for high-speed train for Saudi Arabia, Spain is a world leader in infaestructuras, this country is 2 º country of the world with more km from high speed (1 º China) and is 3 º country of the world with more km from free highways and from payment (1 º China, 2 º USA)
And last but not least, the Spanish taxpayers also contribute to the common budget,as part of the fouth eurozone economy, with a 1,2 GDP trillion euros.
Or a simple research on the same google about giants of the industry as "TALGO" or "Construcciones y Auxiliares de Ferrocarril (C.A.F)".. By the way, the huge financial size of her portfolios of international contracts as well as its international industrial orders awaiting delivery (5 billions of euros in next 2012, only at C.A.F case) just must should suggest you that the Spanish industry exports more than olives...
@kbdkbd99 If such commentator imagines that, it is a completely uninformed with regard to the European and world railway industry. And you Sir, can "dare to say" what you want also, but this high speed technology is not "beyond the average (industry) spaniard". The Spanish industry is currently at the world avant-garde in this field. Just type in Google (if you have any other personal motivation on Youtube that pure cheap "trollism") simple railways high speed items as "Oaris" or "Talgo AVRIL"..
@TGV150Pos The velaro family does include the ICE 3, they all have a thing in common and that is that they are designed by the same designer. The only difference is max speed, with and seat arrengement.
@justanotherfreak2008 Since the most part of the Siemens Velaro's are built in Spain, they must be considered as spanish. German technology, but built in Spain.
@NeAZ come on:) Volkswagen cars are built in Poland. Can anyone say its a polish car? Its a German train built in Spain by spanish workers. nothing else;)
THIS is what we will have to wait many years to have here in the U.S.A. thanks to our automobile mentality....General Motors DICTATES our transportation policy....
In Florida, RICK SCOTT made the VERY UNPOPULAR decision to cancel high speed rail, even with private financing....THAT IDIOT..
At present, the Spanish could run trains at 350km/h, but they aren't inclined, as track damage increases substantially above 300km/h. Because they already have a good market share on the routes covered, they see no need to run trains that fast. On the other hand, China is a more-than big enough country to run trains at that speed.
@jositos251 I think you will find that a huge proportion of the money used to finance spanish high speed rail came from the EU. Last time I checked Germany and the United Kingdom were the main net EU contributors not Spain...
@nograviti exactly 33% of the money put the EU, the remaining 67% put the Ministry of Development of Spain. Spanish citizens know that we do not need to be reminded.
This fact was recognized in its day by Minister Jose Blanco and think you should know that the UK has also received aid from the EU.
We also know that the UK is not the only one who gives aid to European fund also help countries like France and Italy
@saez71 Yes and who founded the USA? I think you will find it was the English! We certainly are not receiving dollaps of money now from our European neighbours unlike Spain....
Greetings from America! Yes, you're correct. This is the same type of train used for the ICE 3. It is called the "Velaro" and is designed and built by SIEMENS Technologies. It is also used for some of the AVE trains as well as the new Russian Sapsan Express.
You, sir, must be a complete dumbass. First of all it is in Spain, not in Mexico. Second, it is not stolen german technology - the se trains are sold to Spain by Siemens. Ever heard of something called "export"?
@catrachocolo You are right that these train purchases do not represent "stolen technology".
I imagine what the poster meant with that term is that this is technology that the Spaniards would never have engineered if they were left to themselves.
I would dare say that not only is this technology beyond the average Spaniard, but that the cost of it is subsidised by European handouts from English, French and German taxpayer, and I dare say the Spaniards would never afford it on by selling olives
@malik1234123 Are you American ,yes probably, never heard from spain ??? No ,probably not,Wisconsin is your world ...... LOOK STUPID FUCK ,ITS SPAIN ,NOT MEXICO AND WE BUYED THE TRAINS SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ,gilipoyas....
ERTMS is a signalling and controls system, not a security system. The Madrid-Barcelona line track is constructed to support speeds of up to 350km/h, but even though ERTMS is installed across the line, they deliberately spaced the signal boxes to only allow 300km/h operation: - even with 300km/h operation, trains often arrive early. However, when the French close the gaps in the high-speed lines, maybe 350km/h operation may be a good idea to bring more cities within competitive time ranges.
You Know a TALGO train Called AVRIL is a prototype in the future runs at 380km/h and in this moment You know FASTECH360 of Japan Rails this train runs at 360Km/h the same of the AGV.
Turkiye like spain is earthquake prone I sure want something that is easier to control and manage over uncontrolable
speed since in life there are so many unexpected events happen etc. What
or Does it make so much of a difference on a 600 km trip? If so maybe 40 min or so I would rather use that time more constructively by brushing up on office work sleep.or listening to music or DVD.
Of course it is not true. Both the German (Siemens Velaro) and Japanese (Shinkansen) technology far surpass the French TGV. The French made their first EMU only recently, still in prototype phase, but these type trains have been running for decades in Japan and for a decade in Germany.
Nice video :-) I got a question, do AVE S-103 trains run in double traction like the ICE3 do in germany? I searched a lot of videos on youtube but i only found films showing AVE S-103 running single.

Saludos !!
