2008 was a brilliant season and hats off to massa showing what a great guy he is being gracious even in defeat, and lets face it i dont think its ever been closer!! so hats off to lewis and massa for that year, and just hope massa gets his turn, he is one person who truly deserves it

i used to hate him becouse he was lucky enough to START with a competative drive not becouse hes black, but in 2009 he did show he diserved it, he was patient an mature about a seruisly un developed car and yeah ur right he won 2008 fair and square

@hawk860 allot of drivers never ge tto show there skills Luca Badoer is the centre of that got a record he didnt deserve when in f3000 he beat barrichello panis coulthard the likes...but he got stuck with the shit drives...Hamilton is indeed a lucky driver...and ye in 2009 he did show ihe deserved it by driving a shit car into good places...as martin brundle said the diff between a gd driver n a gr8 1 is the gr8 1 wins in cars that arent winning cars..

Hamilton is awesome. Massa proved himself a real fighter last year, more so than Kimi. Kimi was destroyed after Spa, his worst race of the season. Massa picked it up after Silverstone, which was his worst race of the year. All in all, the greatest F1 season...ever?

It was easily the best season in my memory. And we didn't have any driver changes either - that shows how much safer the sport is, and that all the drivers deserved to be on the grid. The only bad points were that Bourdais never got the result we know he deserves and that Super Aguri folded...

ah brilliant, i mean i'm a massive hamilton fan but after that season i would have been happy for massa to have won it aswell (not as happy though) but i have the whole race on dvd & man it is still good watching it again & again & thank you finaly other people saying button is a good driver. HE IS! in the end of 06 from his win 2 the end of the season he scored more points than any1 else back in 04 he was 3rd in the championship behind the 2 ferraris hopefully with brawns help theyll get better
