This is kinda funny,Most of the legendery people like arthas uther and all else come from the alliance,They are much stronger then garrosh or any other horde champion and yet the horde still thinks they are much stronger then humans or any race of the alliance ^^
ICC was only "meh" because it lasted for a full year. If it had had the same duration as a normal patch I think people would have a much different look on it, than "that raid we had to grind for a year". When ICC was new, I enjoyed it very much, and the Lich King fight was awesome, lightyears away from the Deathwing encounters. Though to get OT, Ulduar was an awesome patch, best raid there has been.
What the fuck ? Woltk is one of the greatest expension blizzard ever made. Northrend , Dalaran , so much epiness, Ulduar , ICC , coolest raid. Well WoW is not really dead , but Woltk was such a sucess.
I will not lie Varian would've beat GArrosh but that was only because he owned Shalamayne. Now that Garrosh wields Gorehowl. THey are an even match perhaps Garrosh is even better.
P.S. GARROSH IS MUCH BETTER WARCHIEF THAN THRALL EVER WAS!

Probably the best patch trailer, for the most amazing raid in WoW. Ulduar was massive and beautiful with massive lore behind it. All the fights were unique and interesting with a wide array of awards available to more hardcore players. Make raids like this Blizzard!
Also, those dwarves... It doesn't matter what universe, in Lord of The Rings they dug too deep and unleashed a Balrog. In WoW they let loose a death god.

Well, back then Garrosh was not the leader - So the big idiot leader here is Varion. Firstly, the wrath gate incident were a direct betrayal of both Horde and Forsaken - Putress was put to death. Second, Varion egged Garrosh on - He's just as hot headed.

Your correct that Garrosh wasn't the warchief but he was the leader of the Northrend campaign and led the Horde forces there. The art of diplomacy demands subtlety and patience two things Garrosh lacks. Varian waited until Garrosh lunged at him so saying Varian caused it is false. He didn't egg him on he responded to the insult & he didn't initiate it.
@Luxai The Forsaken and in particular Putress and Varimathras caused the Wrathgate incident but the creation of the Blight was condoned and sponsored by Sylvanas. Remember King Varian doesn't know the details on how the Blight was made only that Putress used it. The fact that Putress used it isn't what angered him the most its that the Horde promised to work together and the Horde's failure to reign in Sylvanas & stop the desecration of the former Alliance capital of Lordaeron.
@DarkMagus1985 Horde, Sylvanas, or the Forsaken had nothing to do with it. Putress and his followers were acting totaally on their own accord. So saying that it was the Horde's fault is a lie.

Anyone who has ever visited the Undercity have seen the apothecary labs the experiments the slabs with half created abominations. Imagine yourself the king of Stormwind someone who grew up in Lordaeron and was raised by Terenas as a foster son. What do you think when you see his city? Your angry. Varian discovered the labs and knew Sylvanas had to of ordered its manufacturing hence why he was so mad.

@DarkMagus1985 To answear your question directly... Yes.Garrosh is unaware of the blatant plague abuse. he's not ignorant, but he's not a genius either, prefering to power through problems. Sylvanas is very crafty and can thus hide it. And it's up to the warchief to decide what the punishment for betrayal is. My bet is that he'd probably use it as an excuse to kick the forsaken out of the Horde. And while the last part is true, Garrosh CAN show mercy, like in the case of fel magic
@Luxai He's all about honor and he doesn't accept deception or Sylvanas. What he'll do when he finds out is call for the death of Sylvanas or at least her imprisonment. Remember what he said to Sylvanas when she raised the dead thru the valkyr. "We all have to stand before our maker and face judgement. Your day may come sooner than others" He will most likely kill Sylvanas the same as he did Kromgar. You can't forget how angry he was when he witnessed her act of aberration.
@Luxai I just hope in Mist of Pandaria we here about the warchief's response to Sylvanas. A lot of stories need to be finished up in order to make sense.
@DarkMagus1985 If he'll ever know about it. I mean, he DID come out of a Portal at Stone Talon Mountains even though Orgrimmar was far away - I don't know how he knew what was going on. My guess is that the Horde forces that didn't die at Gilneas didn't see the plague.
@Luxai I would think the same if not for Cromush being in Hillsbrad reporting to Garrosh. Drek'thar of the Frostwolves can also validate the stories since he's been watching the Forsaken from Alterac. I'm going to say Garrosh knows but can't do much without causing political turmoil to the Horde.
@Luxai We as players are privy to a lot more information than any NPC in game. What we know and consider common knowledge is something that King Varian, Garrosh, etc. Do not know and cannot know. When playing the game we have to see why these characters have such biases and understand their backgrounds as npcs. When your making your argument remember the Alliance and Horde rivalry is riddled with betrayals & a bitter history. If you favor any side make sure to know the facts.
I haven't been playing WoW for very long; maybe since the beginning of Cata, but I didn't understand why people were hating on the 4.3 trailer so much...
Now I know why, every other damn trailer they've made is so good, so story driven, and nearly all of them gave me chills. I feel like Blizzard half assed most of Cata in comparison, I wish I played sooner so that I could experience WoW in its glory.
EPIC, probably the best ingame trailer.. and ulduar for anyone who played from the start has to be rated in the top 2 raid instances to come out. The amount of lore in storm peaks, the epicness of the land, the heroic modes, the boss fights, were all awesome.. and new raids were being released so quickly.
If raids were still like this i might still be playing. But everything blizz does just points to the same idea that it's all minimum effort. You only have to look at firelands to agree

Varian is much more badass than Garrosh could ever be. Wolfheart proved this, Garrosh would have died if his bodyguard boyfriends didn't save him. Not to mention that Garrosh is a disgrace to Horde and WoW in general, it's beyond me why Thrall ever allowed him to be become Warchief.
It wouldn't have been on the Wrath Collectors Edition (which I also own) because the collectors edition was released before the trailer was made. Similarly, all the trailers for all the Burning Crusade patches ARE on the Wrath edition, because they came out after the Burning Crusade collectors edition was released.
However, the Cataclysm edition DOES have the 3.2 trailer, 3.3 trailer and the death of the Lich King cutscene.

My favourite patch of that expansion, my favourite raid, and sods law, its the only thing not on the disc. But at least I got a Diablo trailer? Come on, Blizz.

In the novel Wolfheart, Varian and Garrosh meet in a rematch. By this point, the King has drank from the waters of Tal'doren and restores balance within himself. He also earns the favor (and has become the champion) of the wolf God - Goldrinn.
With his invigorated spirit, Varian fights Garrosh to a stalemate, then knocks Gorehowl out of the Orc's hands. Only the intervention of the bodyguards saves the Warchief.
Truth be told - I like Varian, a lot. But I despise Garrosh.

@DarkMagus1985 If he'll ever know about it. I mean, he DID come out of a Portal at Stone Talon Mountains even though Orgrimmar was far away - I don't know how he knew what was going on. My guess is that the Horde forces that didn't die at Gilneas didn't see the plague.

@Luxai I would think the same if not for Cromush being in Hillsbrad reporting to Garrosh. Drek'thar of the Frostwolves can also validate the stories since he's been watching the Forsaken from Alterac. I'm going to say Garrosh knows but can't do much without causing political turmoil to the Horde.

@Luxai We as players are privy to a lot more information than any NPC in game. What we know and consider common knowledge is something that King Varian, Garrosh, etc. Do not know and cannot know. When playing the game we have to see why these characters have such biases and understand their backgrounds as npcs. When your making your argument remember the Alliance and Horde rivalry is riddled with betrayals & a bitter history. If you favor any side make sure to know the facts.

I haven't been playing WoW for very long; maybe since the beginning of Cata, but I didn't understand why people were hating on the 4.3 trailer so much...
Now I know why, every other damn trailer they've made is so good, so story driven, and nearly all of them gave me chills. I feel like Blizzard half assed most of Cata in comparison, I wish I played sooner so that I could experience WoW in its glory.

EPIC, probably the best ingame trailer.. and ulduar for anyone who played from the start has to be rated in the top 2 raid instances to come out. The amount of lore in storm peaks, the epicness of the land, the heroic modes, the boss fights, were all awesome.. and new raids were being released so quickly.
If raids were still like this i might still be playing. But everything blizz does just points to the same idea that it's all minimum effort. You only have to look at firelands to agree

Varian is much more badass than Garrosh could ever be. Wolfheart proved this, Garrosh would have died if his bodyguard boyfriends didn't save him. Not to mention that Garrosh is a disgrace to Horde and WoW in general, it's beyond me why Thrall ever allowed him to be become Warchief.

It wouldn't have been on the Wrath Collectors Edition (which I also own) because the collectors edition was released before the trailer was made. Similarly, all the trailers for all the Burning Crusade patches ARE on the Wrath edition, because they came out after the Burning Crusade collectors edition was released.
However, the Cataclysm edition DOES have the 3.2 trailer, 3.3 trailer and the death of the Lich King cutscene.
Why the hell isn't Ulduars trailer on it?

@Rahqwas The only reason I can come up with is its because Thrall and Garrosh had different models in Wrath than they do now.
My favourite patch of that expansion, my favourite raid, and sods law, its the only thing not on the disc. But at least I got a Diablo trailer? Come on, Blizz.

In the novel Wolfheart, Varian and Garrosh meet in a rematch. By this point, the King has drank from the waters of Tal'doren and restores balance within himself. He also earns the favor (and has become the champion) of the wolf God - Goldrinn.
With his invigorated spirit, Varian fights Garrosh to a stalemate, then knocks Gorehowl out of the Orc's hands. Only the intervention of the bodyguards saves the Warchief.
Truth be told - I like Varian, a lot. But I despise Garrosh.
