  • you say brotha alot lol, are you from Lousianna

  • pertty sweet but the camera man needs to be zoomed in on the bird ur gonna kill so i can actually see the bird get the arrow. in this video they are too far away to see the bird actually get hit. u see the one at the end with an arrow in it but it was too far away for the actual shot to be seen. other than that, pretty sweet duck hole yall are at. im jealous of that, thats for sure!

  • Great hunt guys.

  • That's a damn nice honey hole

  • not impressed anyone can do that when they land in the water.... tim wells would shoot them out of the air when they come flying in like fighter jets! weak video and you cant even see any of the kill shots

  • @craigtitusbaroni Brotha you sound like you like to shoot em' just passing by. But we ain't duck hunting unless we can finish em' all the way to the water. That's duck hunting not pass shooting. I guess you jump the turkeys you hunt so that they are flying when you shoot them as well? Cause shooting them with a shotgun at 40 yards standing still takes soooo much skill!!!!!! Hahahah!!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster your right, but you dont shoot them on the water, in your case its fine, i wouldnt wanna waste arrows on ducks, but with a shotgun you dont shoot them on the water...

  • @craigtitusbaroni spoken like a 'big duck hunter'. Lol. Keep up the great work OVM!

  • @craigtitusbaroni Archery legend Ben Pearson (Father of modern archery) used to shoot ducks out of the air at Bayou Meto, Arkansas with traditional recurve bows.

  • @craigtitusbaroni man u are right on.....this is weak. I could pull this off with my outfit rigged for turkey. But alas, at least they are in the woods. More power to em

  • NICE DUCKS WITH BOW&ARROW ,i need to get in on that action

  • Very Beautiful, the Swamp, the friendship, I bet those ducks taste so good when you bring them back home. God Bless Ya Guys!

  • thats some damn good shots, ive tried this before and man its fun but it takes awhilt ta get tha hang of it

  • People have been hunting birds, ducks, and geese for as long as there have been bows and arrows. It is no crime or shame, except only for those who live in the insanely small world of their unrelenting vanity. They would not have others enjoy this sport of archery hunting for any beast or fowl. Oh, and yes, it is legal to hunt all kinds of game in many states with a bow. We who are really interested hope to extend the privilege of bow-hunting waterfowl to all fifty states.

  • Haha gunnerduke61 is just Juelous cuz yall can hunt ducks better with bows than he can with a shotgun. Lol

  • i am sooooooooooooo jelous of the amout of duck you guys get in , great vid , keep up the good work

  • 'Are the left to rot?"" Not one confirmable bow-kill," " I saw smoke, nice job faking it boys," PEOPLE GET STUPIDER EVERY DAY! MAN I hate people like that. Seriously. Shut up and go watch Strawberry Shortcake videos. this was a very fun video to watch. thanks Boys!

  • @gunnerduke61 Are you serious???? Left to rot??? We eat everything brotha! And if you ain't seen our dvds on sale at ever BASS PRO, CABELAS, SPORTSMAN WAREHOUSE and a hundred other retailers I don't know what to tell ya. But we've got a 100,000 copies out of us smokin' greenheads with nothing but our bows. We do it like no body else brotha. Sorry that you've never ever seen fletch waterproofing. It's a powder man and it comes off when you shoot your arrow. That simple brotha!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster My man...I was quoting OTHER stupid posters!! they are the ones i said get stupider every day. they are the ones I said "shut up and watch strawberry shortcake vids!" One was even the "saw smoke" comment you responded to! LOL!! I LOVED THIS VID!! thanks!!!

  • @gunnerduke61 Hahahah!!! Brother I hear ya there!!!! I need to read better for darn sure. Hahah. My bad and thanks for gettin' our backs!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster what draw lb? seems like it be a good time! how many did you all get?

  • @gunnerduke61 Brother that's my bad!!!! Sorry I should have read that better. Thanks for having our backs. My bad again brotha!!!

  • I didn't see one confirm-able bow kill on this video.

  • This video is very beautiful adventures....

    By M.P.S. from Italy ( mpsvideo.com )

  • I seen smoke on at least one supposed bow shot. nice job of faking it boys.

  • @DakotaMatador. Hey Dakota no faking it here brother!!!! The smoke you see is called Fletch Dry. It is a white powder used to keep feathers of the arrows dry in high moisture applications. I use it all the time and when an arrow is shot the powder just comes right off the fletchings. But brother we have several DVDs on the market that are nothing but hardcore bowhunting for mallards. No better else doing it like us brotha!!!! No faking here. Matter of fact a tv show was just done on us!!!!

  • @DakotaMatador

From what you just said, i feel like you have never even shot a gun before, smoke doesn't freaking travel with the bullet . You have no clue what your talking about.

  • @TheOnlyBlueStopSign I have done a lot of hunting! I have not done bow hunting for ducks, only whitetail deer. A fellow above explained it as Fletch Dry. I take his word for it and say nice shooting!

  • who many arows did you lose. hunting in water like that and all.

  • Never in my life have I seen something this badass. I hadn't even thought about DOING THIS. Freakin' amazing. Period.

  • Are they eaten or just left to rot?

  • Crazy guys, crazy! Two thumbs up

  • what if they had guns

  • Is the newest mallard madness video out? somebody told me it was called bone dry

  • @Outdoorvideomaster you are my hero...

  • wow i couldnt hit a duck with a arrow nice videoing

  • @outdoorvideomaster what kind of arrows/points are you using? i want to try this next year and am just wondering what kind of setup yall are using

  • ZOMBIES!!!!

  • Awesome video! Looks like fun fun having all them ducks land so close!

  • shit i would use a bow fishing bow 2 hunt ducks

  • do yall just use regular field tips for the arrows?

  • @jayp269112 We shoot the actual setups we use for deer. Expandables and fixed blade broadheads. We'll go several hunts before we lose an arrow.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster dam, yall must be some pretty bad ass shots then

  • if i was sitting in that hole with my sbe i wold put a hell of a dent in the mallard popluation.. good job guys..

  • if i ever said to my buddies "hey lets go hunt ducks with a bow" they would probably have me comitted lol nice job, i guess lumeknocks would be pretty handy when retrieving the arrows

  • nice work fellers

  • @thomasmgunter "Man all you gotta do is order Mallard Madness IV "The Backwater Blues" from Echo Calls and you'll see more duck killing with our bows than you ever thought possible! Plus, some insane timber hunting to say the least. THERE AIN'T NOBODY THAT DOES TIMBER HUNTING MALLARDS LIKE THE ECHO BOYS". Guaranteed!!!!

  • in soviet russia ducks hunt you

  • i have a question isn't bow hunting ducks illegal and if so what states are they illegal in?

  • i dont like this type of hunting, i mean you don't need the meat to survive or something.

killing for fun, and it doesn't seem too dificult either.

    no offence have fun

  • @teunversluis18

Your right, it isnt dificult. Thats not the word. You try to teach yourself to kill a duck with a bow over decoys, and let me know how many years it takes. This "type" of hunting is almost impossible.

  • you lads must of had some fun days get better when you get home and eat the ducks too would love to do this. I will be catching duck next season with my hawk

  • @keenefx yeah i noticed the same thing. i think the camera man had a benelli. lol

  • do you use broadheads or field points? the only reason i can think that you might lose some, is if they stuck in the mud under the water. or they flew threw the air

  • Have you ever used bow fishing rigs set up with broadheads on ducks? Or are you guys just shooting regular arrows? I've often thought about going after ducks with a regular rig, but thought I would lose the arrows because of how far they can fly. Great video and I'm going to try to buy the full video as this has always looked like it would be fun! Mallards are good eating.

  • To clear this up for some of you yes bow hunting is legal in most states.

  • What a nice different way to hunt! Maybe i'll try this month!

  • im planning on doing this tomrow by my stream so many wood ducks got my wood duck calls camo and see the ducks all teh time i left hunting the other day cause it was to cold they saw a deer and about 12 wood ducks the deer ran when my fathers friend went to get his bow off his hanger thing but i got a great spot

  • Hey brotha I didn't put any kills on this because they are all on our dvd. The dvd is called Echo's Mallard Madness IV "The Backwater Blues". You'll see us kill freakin' a ton of birds with archery equipment. You can order it by calling 501-882-2026. That's the Echo Calls shop. If your a duck hunter your gonna love this action packed video. Guaranteed!!!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster you are a fucking homo. this vid is fucking stupid.. "the blackwater blues"????????????? thats the gayest shit I ever heard. try and watch a fuckin zink movie you fag and then do some work on your vids. Nice try ass wipe, but i believe half of what I see and none of what I hear, so if you want me to believe that you shot them with your bow, then show it on youtube. Im not gonna buy into your plug if you dont show me that they are actually killed with a bow. Ur a bitch

  • you must had waster some ariows

  • Actually over the season we don't loose but maybe one or two out of thousands of shots. Arrows float cause their hollow and they don't skip far at all. Maybe 10 yards or so. Been doin' it a long time my man.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster Too bad you don't practice grammar as much as you practice with your bow.

  • Who the heck cares about grammar? We ain't sissified city livin' get your meat from a grocery store folk. We take it outta the swamp, off the ridge or noodle it outta the river. Can't remember the last time a duck cared if I said it was a mater instead of tomater. We ain't got no bosses and ain't gotta shine for no one but the little lady back home and the good Lord above. Easy livin' around here. More folks tryin' to join our country club instead of those hell holes around the masses. Nuff said

  • @Outdoorvideomaster thats what im talkin about.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster now that was well said sir.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster hey, do you guys usually use a rubber fletching or a feathered one.

  • @rookieangel88 We all pretty much use plastic fletching. I do use feathers personally with a water repellant applied to the feathers. They'll usually last about 8 or 10 shots in a morning.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster cool thanks i was just wonderin cause i just got into bow huntin and someone told me feathers can ruin a whiskerbuisket and whiskerbuiskets can ruin the feathers. i wasnt to sure if that was true or not.

  • Where can I get a copy?

  • Monday morning call 501-882-2026 and order Mallard Madness IV "The Backwater Blues". It's the most insane timber duck hunting dvd on the market. It's got a ton of duck kills on it with archery equipment as well as a ton of slow motion effects. Good stuff, guaranteed!!!!!

  • what kind of bow do u use?

  • i really want to know where the hell this is at i want these ducks at my place

  • i dig the trophy room

  • I think that if ducks ever flew into my spot in those kinds of numbers i would piss myself.

  • haha looks fun BUT how many did you get while they were still flying

  • thats pretty sweet where can i find a song like yours playing in the back like that i like it

  • @Outdoorvideomaster tryed it and loved it.life long addiction, keep on doin what u do brother.nice work

  • can everybody go hunting in the states?are there special laws in your state f.ex,good vid, enjoyed it

  • can everybody go hunting in the states?

  • @georgewashington92 Yes you can

  • shooting ducks with a compound, God !!!!!!!!

  • Nice job showing them actually getting hit............

  • Wow i have never seen duck hunting with a bow before! That is something that needs to apear on the outdoor channel now :).

  • i thought shooting animals when on the water was illegal

  • i do that all the time and been doing that for my whole hunting life

  • gotta love duck hunting

  • Way to finish some ducks!

  • I'd hate to watch all those ducks droppin in that hole with a bow in my hand

  • do you guys use broadheads? or blunts?

  • @Roadapplepie3 @2:30 when he lifts his arrows you can see it looks like a broadhead of some kind

  • yeah your right, thanks :)

  • @Roadapplepie3 I shoot mechanical broadheads. i use my same setup as what i use deer hunting. We need them to be as accurate as possible so thats why we use mechanicals. Thanks. Rusty

  • @rutt69 alright, so ill just stick to my setup i have now. Thanks

  • Man you had those ducks just DUMPING into that hole. Nice vid! That's something I would love to try one day!

  • Makes me hungry....

  • verry well done ...do you loose meny arrows in the heat of the moment..just a shame its agenst the law over in the uk....keep posting pall

  • that is illegal it must be above headheight before shooting it or boe hunting it

  • Nope it's not illegal at all in Arkansas. Just like you can water swat em' with your shotgun if you want to. I wrote the book so I oughtta know.

  • @cohuna69 what do you prefer better using a gun or bow?

as a young person thats wants to start shooting id like to find out what gun i should use (shotgun) ur help would be appreciated

  • @cohuna69 nothings illegal in Arkansas

  • @cohuna69 your on something cause people in newyork always tell me that thats actually in my dtate an ethics thing and i dont follow it its stupid

  • Awesome.

  • That is awesome, To bad you cannot bowhunt duck's in new jersey.

  • Dude, Echo wrote the book they read, guaranteed!!!

  • that's crazy man. arrow and broadheads are more expensive than hevi shot. i guess it really depends on the broadhead, but still, it would be more expensive than hevi shot. is bow duck hunting even legal?

  • Well heck yeah it's legal and we kill 8 or ten ducks with the same arrow before we break or lose an arrow so it comes out way cheaper than shells for the most part. Aside from that it's way more fun than shootin' em' with any shotgun!!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster Wow, you guys were actually able to find your arrows?

  • cool video. what a perfect landscape to pull that off

  • I'd rather be shooting them with my super black eagle.

  • man i would make a tree stand there haha

  • where is this timber hunting? the ducks are flyin in like crazy! thats a good hunting set up

  • This place must be the heaven on earth:)

  • do the flu flu fletchings then the furry fletchings also

  • really good video, but i have to say this. As you said, anyone can shoot a passing duck, just like anyone can shoot a sitting duck with a bow. and you could use a recurve. wouldnt shoot'em so far.

  • Actually this year we started using lightweight home made spears. Talk about awesome!!!! We've impaled many. I'll soon have the video uploaded!!! Anyone can shoot a duck on the water with a bow brotha but the deal is not everyone can land em' like we can, guaranteed!!!!

  • Man, i cant wait to see that! where are you hunting?

  • @Outdoorvideomaster It amazing that you guys were able to land so many ducks on public land! Awesome job!!!

  • Anyone can shoot a sitting duck with a bow?? Probably not but maybe? But how many people can call em in and land em?? Try calling, pulling a jerk string, and then trying to draw your bow. I think you will have a totally different opinion!!

  • oh im jealus

    looks like ablast

wanna come to states and do dat, ^^

  • Pretty cool....you guys look good enough to take some on the wing. Any plans to try that?

  • We would but we can't slow our arrows down enough before the get stuck up in the dang trees. We've tried it before and you lose so many arrows. Flu Flu arrows travel about 150 to 170 yards and most of the holes we shoot in are only 30 yards wide. So that means our arrows get flung way out into the woods somewhere literally every shot. We'd wing shoot em' if it weren't for that.

  • in arkansas its illegal to shoot em on the water, dont know about anywhere else but thats what ive been told since i was 7 and started duck hunting. we actually even throw stones at coots to get em up when where bored. but welcome to the bs 'conservation' of the AGFC.

  • Naw brotha they been telling you wrong. It's completely legal to shoot ducks on the water. That's just a bunch of BS.

  • Thats awesome man, good shootin!

  • lol you guys are nucking futs! Guaranteed! I gotta try this...

  • You Say"

"Heck no brotha! If you couldn't shoot em' on the water it'd be illegal to shoot cripples!!!!! ! "

As long as your not hunting Maryland. Maryland law prohibits this, from Maryland code...

    § 10-602. Hunting prohibitions.

    (c) Waterfowl resting on land or water.- (1) A person may not shoot a wild waterfowl resting on land or water.

     2) A person who wounds and cripples a wild waterfowl may shoot the waterfowl

  • Holy hell... I wouldn't expect anything less from a liberal state such as Maryland. This is exactly what happens when such people run, make and dictate laws for outdoorsmen. I'm not surprised that outdoorsmen up there aren't regulated to using rubber bullets and blunts.

  • How many arrows did you lose lol

  • Actually I've not lost an arrow in probably the last 100 shots or so. They all float and don't go far after hitting the water.

  • pretty awesome skill, but isn't it illegal to hunt migratory waterfowl while not in flight?

  • also, on a side note though, it is using a bow so I guess that kinda negates that.

  • Heck no brotha! If you couldn't shoot em' on the water it'd be illegal to shoot cripples!!!!! There is no way they'd even come close to having a law like that. Water swattin' is completely legal brotha!!!!

  • gota try that

  • What a honey hole. AMAZING

  • HE GONA EAT SO MANY DUCKS?

  • Yea people try to mimic you, considering your killing ducks while they sit in the water..... I couldn't imagine using a gun there!!!!

  • vy: You make yourself look like the village idiot posting comments like this. Try doing some "big boy" research as to why hunting exists, the health benefits of eating wild game and the positive impact hunters make on both the preservation of the species and habitat. You couldn't imagine using a gun if a crazed rapist had your ass mounted on the floor..who are you kidding?

  • that truly is skillz!!!

  • do you use blunts or broadheads?

  • 1tag... just shut up while your ahead and keep playing your video games.. great shootin yall!

  • nice vid.

  • how many did you guys go through on the hunt?

  • hey u guys got alot of ducks but..u guys shoot them all in the water...ive tried it and its hard to do but good luck..

  • that was the best i have seen. one thing do you let the duck land or do you shoot when they are in flight . we dont get that in the uk bow hunting duck

  • Awesome video! What do you guys do aout lost arrows? Would it work if i tied a string to the arrows to pull in the ducks? Please reply, and keep up the awesome videos

  • i dont think the string thing will work .. theres a danger of the arrow getting tangled up and hiting you ... its not bowfishing ....

  • flu flu arrows

  • u guys are fuckin badass keep that shit up

  • Cool video! If you all are looking to see how other hunters are doing this year, check out HuntersBlind . com

HuntersBlind has a socially networked field reporting map that people post field reports on!

  • bad ass, the only way to duck hunt

  • i cant believe the amount of ducks you guys were seeing! Im hunting in NH, and I usually see only 70 ducks maximum

  • wow. the antis havnt attacked you guys yet. great shooting fellas!

  • Awsome video guys! your doing what ive been wanting to do for a long time. I love to bowhunt everything, rabbits, squirrels, deer and predators. ive even tried quail with no success YET! Do you guys use field points or broadheads tho? I plan on trying it this year got any tips to help a beginner duck hunter? Again awsome video where can I purchase it?

  • I use exactly what I deer hunt with. Muzzy fixed blade broadheads, aluminum arrows with feathered fletching. Thanks about the comments. The dvd which is over 3 hours long can be ordered from Echo Calls. 501-882-2026. Ask For Rick Dunn, world champion duck caller.

  • cool ... iv never seen duck bowhuntin before .. i bet its fun .

  • YESSSSSS SIR! That was awesome!

  • you must loose alot of arrows

  • Actually we don't. They of course float. In a mornings hunt we'll only at the most loose 2 or 3 between the whole group. On the hunt with our dvd we all killed full limits and only lost 2 arrows and 1 of is because we shot at a duck flying. I haven't lost an arrow all year.

  • yes they float, but doesn't they stick to bottom of that pool? -on my yard: there is 14 arrows on this 100m x 100m area :D

  • nice bows man!! i have to try that sometime!!!

  • iam going to try it in bayou meto this year with my longbow it will be filmed and be on here and this is a great vid echo is all i call with

  • where do you aim

  • We aimed right where it looks like their body meets the water. This way you can shoot alittle high or low and still get an arrow in him.

  • LOL! Are you serious. We don't shoot em' unless we can land em'! You don't ge any more sporting than that cuz ain't everybody can land em'. Anyone can pass shoot a duck. What's sporting about shooting a duck flying by with a 12 gauge at 30 yards. You'll kill it every time. It's legal to shoot ducks landed that's like saying a person can't shoot a deer standing it has to be walking.

  • Take them in the air with a bow? You can't be serious. I agree that shooting a sitting duck with a shotgun is a little unsporting, but trying to shoot a flying duck with a bow would be damn near impossible unless you're some kind of exhibition shooter. Shooting a little duck at 30 yards from behind a tree with a bow while all that hunting crap on is plenty sporting.

  • Taking flyng game isnt that hard with a bow,ive killed mallards, wood duck, canada geese, pheasants, pigeons, spruce grouse(that was hard) and the hardest so far was a woodcock. But if you shoot almost everyday and take shots that challenge you all the time eventually shooting becomes unconscious you just let muscle memory take over and watch your spot(target). I have taken many people that have never shot bows out and had them killing flying carp from a moving boat.I guess impossible is in the mind

  • not impossible but man you would have to do nothing but shot at skeet with the bow for like a year.
