Great music horrible movie. This could have been so great to. The big problem was they tried to make it to family friendly. They should have made it darker kept all the blood as seen in the game, made it a solid R rating and given a little more artistic licensee on character design so that all the characters didnt look like they were straight out of an over blown episode of the power rangers.

Instead it was like a cheap family friendly rip off of the power rangers. Or to put it another way it could have been as  good as the X-men movies but instead Mortal Kombat was closer to the power rangers in comparison. Make Sense?
