Ok, I would really like someone to explain this victory to me. Poirier never tapped he just brought it to the ground. From where I was standing I don't know if Poirier's eyes were rolling back or anything, but from what I saw this was an early stoppage.

That's why I said defend it a couple of times first. He is not ready for WEC at the moment but give him some time and let him improve and then see what happens. I am sure all fighters want to continually challenge themselves and after retaining that belt a few times who knows. Perhaps he could get a shot at the WEC. If anything I wish that dude the best in his journey as well as any other fighter will to step into the cage or ring and put it all on the line in an MMA bout. Quit hatin.
