Well, Andy did play it pretty fast, I mean, listen to the tempo of the song, this version is just that much more fast.

In my opinion I don't think that making a fast song faster destroys anything, and the sound, this guy is playing it faster AND much more accurately and articulately than Andy did, still have mad props for Andy being a bad ass though.

Sealhammer is 100% correct. it is too fast and loses it's groove. Though I have doubts about Ben's emphasis on speed (ie: too fast) I c annot fault his technique. And he played this with no backing track to cover mistakes. He plays it flawlessly. His other vids show he has other important areas down too, such as vibrato and bending, so he's not just a shred head.
