Gay people especially gay men have always been the targets of homophobes too. Hiv has

justification for trying to halt most funding

Back in the 80's and 90's, gays were being disowned by their families for being gay, plus they were scared out of their wits over being resigned to die of AIDS, and many became very self self destructive. Overuse of antibiotics due to regular STD infections destroying necessary flora in the gut, drug abuse, AZT, lives lived in hopelessness, gays stressed beyond breaking! All these things and more are what caused all of the deaths, not HIV! Surprise, surprise, surprise!!!

Wake up you boneheads! People did not "die of HIV causing AIDS" in the 80's, they died from many things such as high dose AZT that was given to all who tested positive from 1987 to 1995 (the EXACT SAME YEARS of high deaths said to be due to HIV). Today, the leading cause of death in American HIV positives is LIVER FAILURE, that is still due to the drugs.

After more than 20 years and billions of dollars spent on research, there is still NO PROOF that anyone has ever been infected with a distinct entity of viral origin called "HIV" nor that it is the underlying cause of all the old diseases that are now called "AIDS".

You should be seeking more information about this controversial proposition, and working much harder to become widely informed about the facts. HIV tests DO NOT detect actual virus.
