@demariojason - You probably already know this, but Busters died a quiet death (the rink, not the owner) roughly two years ago. It wasn't that big of a surprise, though, since attendance had been on the decline for the longest time.

I love this video. When I was in middle school this is where all of my friends and I would meet. It takes me back. I love it & I miss hanging out at Sparkles!!!

I didnt know rinks still existed around here. God what some memories. I used to go all the time back in the 80's. Still got my Ridell low cuts with purple plates. It's great to see that roller skating is still around for the next generation! :)

What you don't know is what time it was when the video was shot, this is after the majority of the people already left for the evening. Trust me, there were a lot more people there earlier in the evening.

that is one of the benefits of attending an all adult session - it's all about the "old school" if you get a good DJ who knows how to skate :)
