  • Kc's voice kinda sounds like stewie from family guy... just a non chess thought

  • gg kingscrusher. @Nola213 I agree it was a good decision to take the draw because of time constraints. For the sake of ending technique, though, after 50.Ne8+ Ke7 51.Nc7 Kd6 52.Ne8+ Ke7 53.Nc7, instead of repeating moves 53...Ke7, is 53...Kd8 zugzwang and winning for Black? Would welcome criticism.

  • I like when you laugh gracefully, keep it up!

  • I have nothing useful to say, so i'll say this :P

    "I'll offer him a draw but he won't accept.........AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • KC,

You have been playing and commentating with great energy lately. This is nice to see. Take care and good luck.

  • I have the same issue with giving up won games offering them the draw, I had a game last night where I had 2 passed pawns for nothing and opposite colored bishops... I wasn't thinking (we both had 3 minutes left) and I could have just walked my king around to get a queen but I just gave it to him and threw in the towel.

  • Hurrraayy KC is back! Thanks for your impressive, informative, partly funny Vids!!

  • Kind of an unrelated comment, but when I play over the board chess it feels a lot different than online's. I think it's harder to think and play well over the board, which is one reason why I prefer your personal instructive games from club matches and tournaments etc. Also, chess socials sound like a lot more fun, it's a shame they don't have any in my area :].

    Way to win a rook.

  • @mraxeguy i know i feel the same way, i blunder alot more over the board than online. im glad someone else agrees with me =)

  • Another GG. I also think you did the right thing by accepting the draw. He had 31 sec, and you only half that. If you had more time, I'm sure you could have pulled this one out. But given the way the middle game was going, you have to be happy walking away with a draw.

thnx as always for uploading KC.

  • Nice one. Draw good result given the time on your clock.

  • at 1:05ish, can't you take on d4, play Nb6, then d5?

  • @jewbinson I think that's a good question, and precisely why it can't be answered easily. I take it you mean the position after 10.Nbd2 with Black to move (I'm looking at the moves list at the right of the board). Say 10...exd4 11.cxd4 Nb6 followed by 12...d5. While it is true that after 13.exd5 Nfxd5 White would have an isolated pawn on d4 as well as a dark-squared Bishop to hit it, White could decline the exchange and play 13.e5 instead.

  • You are getting better and better everyday. How I wish I am like you.

  • Your fighting spirit is an inspiration. Accepting the draw was a good decision I feel. KC vs TAP 1-1 so far. Will the last game be decisive for this days final score?

  • Why aren't you a master yet ?

  • I have the British Regional master title. Maybe one day I will get a FIDE title too, but I don't have many opportunities for FIDE rated games.

  • @kingscrusher Ah I was already wondering :) You are way to good to not be a master. Thanks for the vids keep them coming ^^

  • @kingscrusher Hey KC, great videos once again - really happy you're trying to do 3 a day, especially seeing how much time it takes! Do you have any idea when you're next coming to Chingford chess club? Thanks

  • @lilondra he is a regional master

  • thanks for keeping us all entertained.. I've been watching your videos since you been on youtube, i'm now ranked over 2k, mostly from watching you.. thanks man
