So whenever I try to download an album on this site and pretty much any other site that downloads whole albums, it saves it in a ".rar" format or whatever it is, but my computer doesn't 'understand' it and it won't work, is there any way around that crap?

@hubbadubchub you have to download a program called "winrar" just google it. Once you have winrar just right click the file you downloaded from albumhunt and click extract. Theres plenty of videos on YouTube that shows how to use winrar too.

With .rar files you have to download a program called 7zip. And once you've downloaded a .rar file. Right click the file, click 7zip then click extract, then click on the "..." icon beside the dialog box to choose where you'd like to extract the files then click extract/ok. Then go to wherever you extracted it to and the content extracted from the.rar file will be there. Hope this helped, tried to make it as brief and straight forward as possible. (:
