No, the best version is the original Duane Eddy recording from 1960 with the late, great Steve Douglas on saxophone. But this version isn't half bad either. :)

This version of the song with Duane (same as the version on the 1986 video) is the greatest version of Peter Gunn ever recorded, esp. the ending starting 2:45 (slightly abbreviated here).
