The cop cars in Holly Ridge NC are pretty good. My dad is friends with the police chief and we bought an old intercepter Crown Victoria from them that they were going to destroy. They are slower in the low gears, but once you hit 3rd, that bitch takes off.

Cop cars get 120 mph at best? Where do you live? The Crown Victoria Police Interceptor goes at least 135 mph. And those Dodge Chargers? Well let's just say they got a top speed of 150 mph. Plus they've got police tires, brakes, suspensions and many things improved from the civilian versions, which means they handle much better. So if you get into a chase and unless you own a Corvette ZR1 or a Ferrari, those cops will definitely catch you. And very heavy because of scanners? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Crown Vics regardless of rear gear package are 7.5 0 to 60 on the best most perfect day in fairy tale land more likely 8.5 and mid 16 second 1/4's with 120mph on the faster accelerating rear axle. The v8 Charger at its best is 5.9 0 to 60 and high 14 1/4's with a top speed of 146mph. Yes if you are driving a civic hatchback, police cars are somewhat fast. The average squad car is about the average 0 to 60 speed of all vehicles in this country.

Have you ever heard of the police interceptor? Special built 6 liter V8 designed for police car's 578-600 BHP with 800 torques, you put that kinda power in any car car, your gonna go fast.... dont be fooled thoughs crown vics arent slow.... and thoughs chargers could probly do 200.
