Generalizations like this make you look like an asshat. There are those of us who are transplants from Hockey rich parts of the country like New england or the Northern Midwest or even Canada who reside in this town. There are also people who are DC natives who have been following this team for a very long time. Dont hate on a teams just because they are starting to become a successful organization, it makes you look the fool.

I have been a die hard caps fan since I was three years old

Just cause they put a successful team together doesn't mean I jumped the ban wagon

LOL, the Caps had one of the loudest arenas in the league before you were even thought of. The Cap Centre in MD was ridiculously loud.
