I am too sure anyone who loved the original band and knows the story will find it difficult to listen to this puppet. I unfortunately saw fake war before understanding all of the legal trickery - it sounds like a cover band to me. Hope to see Lowrider Band in concert - wanna see and hear more than snippets on YouTube.

I really don't like this guy anymore. Besides, lying and deceiving all WAR fans, his new band is awful. Anyone who knows the music, realizes Lonnie Jordan is a puppet of Jerry Goldstein, he is not concerned about the WAR legacy.  Low Rider Band has the psychedelic funk vibe, Lonnie Jordan does a County Fair act.

To be honest, I don't care for the two-band concept. Three Dog Night & The Chuck Negron Band being an example. In this case, the above scenario works better, because The Chuck Negron Band mixes Chuck's own material with TDN songs. Otherwise, it isn't really Three Dog Night without Chuck Negron in the group. Lonnie shouldn't refer to his group as "War", because he's the only original member of this impostor group, while the other four survivors are playing as The Lowrider Group. Come home!

People are not going to know where the REAL OG's of WAR are and who really wrote and recorded WAR songs, if WAR fans don't post the truth and stop promoting the fake version of WAR nowadays. The fake version gets all the credit for songs that they did not create just because they can use the WAR name, and the original guys will be forgotten because they can't use THEIR WAR name. Believe me, I seriously want Lonnie Jordan back with his OG bros the way it should be. Peace.

Don't be fooled seymourg5. Yes, Lonnie is an original WAR member, but he's not the ONLY OG left of WAR. There are still 4 other OG's of WAR, who are not getting THEIR due RESPECT and monies from the WAR name, because the name WAR was stolen from them. They are now the LOWRIDER BAND because they didn't SELL OUT to Jerry Golddigger, OWNER of the current line-up of WAR. If you are a true WAR fan, you will not let the original men of WAR be forgotten, while hired hands get all the credit. Peace.

It's unfortunate that Lonnie speaks in the singular when discussing the history. Don't get me wrong, he's an original and deserves respect. However, there were 6 other War members, including my father Harold Brown (drummer). Uncle Lonnie? Honor your brothers by speaking in the plural about the history of this legendary band you helped create. Not speaking about them makes your words less meaningful. 5 out of the 7 members of War are still alive and well. Charles Miller and Papa Dee Allen - RIP.

Man, I gotta hand it to you: you and your father are two VERY diplomatic men. You're being WAY TOO KIND. Given the situation at hand, I don't think I could do it. I've always been one of those "Be the bigger man" types, but under the current circumstances, well...I just couldn't do it. Yeah, a lot of us fans IN THE KNOW take this situation pretty hard, harder than some of the people directly involved.
