• I'M James Bond!

  • EVERYBODY is James Bond thumbs DOWN!!

  • it was nominated for an oscar!

  • James bond spoof everybody. Watch the new Casino Royale's bonus features on the two disc set, they mention this at least once

  • I find several of the comments here rather silly. Of course this movie is bad. I get the feeling that it was supposed to be. It's camp...and on that level it works beautifully. I watched it a lot as a kid and saw it again last year for the first time in decades. It's still funny. The actors are hamming it up delberately. Who cares that tit's an overblown mess? It doesn't take itself seriously for a moment-and that is it's charm. The 'serious' Bond movies were just as ridiculous.

  • I watched this over the weekend just for Deborah Kerr and found myself chuckling at the campiness of it. I think that it is pretty cool that so many accomplished actors agreed to do a fun and campy movie in which no one took themselves or anyone else seriously.

  • has anybody else seen the female ghost-like caracter in that movie?

near the end of the movie (during the huge brawl) there is a 5 second scene in black and white, if you watch closely on the left of the screen you'll see a rose-dressed lady turning around a light pole.

    freaky!

  • Peliculasa :)

  • Anyone complaning about Daniel Craig's James Bond has obviously never read a Bond novel, he's the closet one to the literay James Bond, which is a good thing.

  • they should've used the "too much for one James Bond" tag for 2006 film.

    Guess what?

    Eva Green is James Bond!

    Mads Mikkelsen is James Bond!

    Caterina Murino is James Bond!

    Jeffery Wright is James Bond!

  • Guess what!

    Justin Bieber is James Bond.

    Gok Wan is James Bond.

    Bin Laden is James Bond!

    My grandma is James Bond.

Holy shit! Even my cat is James Bond!

Casino Royale is too much for one James Bond!

  • Hell, even I'm James Bond

  • FIVE directors? Shit, man.

  • Why are there scenes from " from Russia with love" and "you only live twice"?

  • @hhoelper ...There aren't.

  • casino royale is too much for one james bond, and too shitty for you to even consider watching it. so do yourself a favor and run, don't walk, in the opposite direction of where ever this is playing.

  • @mattmale haha your comment made me chuckle. thanks

  • @mattmale And I could probably figure out 25 reasons why you hate it because you didn't get it.

  • @SecretTimeWarp what was there to get beyond it being a complete jumbled mess? its star, peter sellers, was fired mid way through filming and they had to hastily re-write the ending for fuck sakes - not to mention it was universally panned.

  • Tired of your own nine To Five situation? Pay a visit to roulettecash, org and earn somewhere around Thirty Three Hundred Dollar month per 30 days on the internet!

  • loved both versions- massive fan of bond in any shape or form

  • Have loved the Bacharach sound track ever since I can remember.

  • It's a great 60's funfest imo. It's very schizophrenic but that just adds to the fun. Caroline Munro is in the end casino fight scene sonewhere. I think it was her first film.

  • Craig sucks as bond,,he is almost unwatchable

  • @lcolby11 I agree , do not like Daniel Craig as an actor ,very poor as Bond probably the worst after Pierce Brosnan.

  • Sellers left the film early in the shoot,,wasnt he fighting with one of the cast?

  • @lcolby11 I think it was Orson Welles.

  • @Redgrant80 Welles and Sellers hated each other. They avoided being on the same set during the shooting. Sellers was a real weird guy. A great actor but very weird.

  • @lcolby11 Yeah, he was fighting with Orson Welles

  • You can see where 'Austin Powers' got his inspiration

  • Without any doubt the best soundtrack of all Bond flicks. Maybe of all movies full stop. Bacharach is Jesus.

  • watch?v=sYoFZD8ONgs

  • this makes no sense. new casino royale much better :)

  • @mrfrisk007

this is a spoof of the espianage films of the 60s you

fucking idiot assholeeoly moron dick crapsicls.

  • @DarkAntiU94 you make no sense fucker

  • @mrfrisk007 This is a spoof of the "espianage films" of the 60s.

  • @DarkAntiU94 you could have just said that, leaving out the swears

  • @mrfrisk007 It was n´t supposed to make sense, that was the idea, I hated the new version.

  • @135yearswaiting yeah i get you its meant to be comedy...

  • PETER SELLERS FOR THE WIN <3

  • From this trailer I am getting the feeling Casino Royale is too much for one James Bond...

Anyways, seen the movie and what seems like quite the idea turns out to be less than stellar. Not the worst movie of all time, but mediocre at best.

  • 14 people are not James Bond

  • Comment removed

  • "What if I said I was pregnant?" -W. A.

  • It does proove that there are alot of James Bonds out there

  • I saw this film yesterday and although I tittered 3 or 4 times with the odd line from Woody Allen, David Niven and peter Sellers. it's mostly very unfunny and sadly at it's most dead when it tries it's hardest.

On top of this, it has to be the most horrifically edited large budgeted film I've ever seen.

At times it's as though 2 or 3 different movies were mashed together.

Over all a sad waste of talent; this film could have been so good.

  • @Divertedflight bullshit

  • 0:12 PWNAGE

  • Most unfunniest "funny" movie ever made.

But I was always intrigued by David Nivens and Peter Sellers as Bond. Ian Fleming wanted Nivens for Dr. No, and Peter Sellers probably comes closest to the Bond of the books, but without the glasses and clutziness.

  • classic!

  • I love this movie once I realized what it was. And the theme song has very funny lyrics

  • Only the part with Peter Sellers is based on the book. The rest of the script was made up for the film.

  • "...OF COURSE YOU KNOW THIS MEANS AN ANGRY LETTER TO THE TIMES..."

  • umm.. I like the updated bond a little.. maybe a lot better lol

  • i loved this film a lot with great music and a great peter sellers

  • hahah! everybody is james bond!

  • I think its time for a sexy party!

  • @TheCGIMaster A HA HA HA HA! That's what i was thinking when I heard the music. ROFL

  • Is this movie some kind of the Monthy Phyton movies?

  • this film has pretty much got the best cast ive ever seen

  • i have seen the 1954 version, it's rather good. This is the only bond film I have never seen b4, maybe i will take a look....

  • Casino Royale (1967) was the only one comedy-spoof film about legendary James Bond. And it wasn't disappointing. It is a wonderfully weird, bold, funny and incoherent mess of a movie. I love this film plus it was great to see sex symbol of the 60's Ursula Undress.

  • Music by Burt Baccarach, played by herb albert.

  • I had to laugh when I saw Stewie's sexy party for the first time...haha

  • Mata Bond scene is hilarious! Only a brilliant performer like Anna Quayle (Frau Hoffner) can get so many laughs and create so vivid a character in less than 5 minutes! FYI for fans, Anna is still performing and is as entertaining as ever, starring in a new series of online-only comedy shorts! To find Anna videos, search YouTube for anna quayle as madame claire.

  • I remember that after Fleming died it was revealed that he actually was a spy in WW2 and (ref: A man named Intrepid) and that David Niven was part of the 'Phantom' unit of the UK Para's at Arnhiem..while they were alive none of this was publicised

  • @Marauder0090 it is said that it was Ian Fleming´s idea to attempt to fool the Germans about the Italian landings , with the plan of "The Man Who Never Was". They fell for it hook ,line and sinker saved thousands of Allied troops live´s by moving a large number of their forces and equipment to Greece. It is a fascinating story just go into "Wikipedia "and look up" The Man who never was".

  • Saw this in the theater back in 1967 and loved it!

  • Whyd They make a remake for this ? Was it unsuccesful

  • @counterstrikenerd321 No, thats because this is a parody of Flemings book, made by another company. EON made a serious one to the original series 39 years later. Theres also a American TV film from 1954 and the Never Say Never Again, these three movies is unofficial movies. Watch my gunbarrel video and you'll see ;)

  • 'my doctor says that i can't have bullets enter my body at any time'

  • @LordNelson87 Good to know, so I don't shoot you :)

  • An absolutely superb comedy! Niven is so hilarious that until today I laugh to death watching his performance at this motion-picture.

David Niven was a fantastic actor, btw.

    :D

  • Great film, it is slapstick just poking fun at the genre of 007 movies, I laugh everytime I see it. I just wish David Niven had been a lot younger he would have made a great 007.

  • Everybody is James Bond! HELL YEAH!!

  • what do you think inspired Austin Powers?

  • This trailer's a bit misleading, as a lot of those "....is James Bond!" things are untrue. Niven, Cooper, and Sellers, yes... the girls are only referred to briefly as 'James Bond' (in the scheme to call everyone that to confuse SMERSH), and Woody Allen is just James's nephew Jimmy.

  • Had they made a (relatively) serious version of the movie with Peter Sellers as Bond and Orson Welles as the baddie, they could have had a pretty good movie.

Even Niven made a good James Bond.

As much as I get a laugh out of this movie when I see it, it's still pretty much a mess.

Look how many directors they went through.

  • Just watched the first hour of this film and gave up, it has to be one of the worst films ever made.

  • I love this movie. I know it's ridiculous and all over the place but if you take it for what it is..a screwy parody of spy movies, it's fun. And all you guys should be happy with all the hot looking ladies in it. You got Ursula Andress, Dahlia Lavi, Barbara Bouchet, Joanna Petit and more.

  • Lighten up, possums. It was a piss-take. Are you going to castigate the Airplane / Naked Gun / Scary Movie movies as well for having a bit of fun?

Come on. Where's your sense of humour gone? Woody Allen's line..."I'm allergic to death". CLASS!

  • @K1w1scot You are right, you have a point, but this movie is still garbage. If I want a James Bond parody, I will watch Austin Powers. :P

  • @K1w1scot Piss-takes are all well and good, if they are actually funny. This film is about as funny as constipation. In fact, I think it's the worst film ever made.

  • @SimonFoston Chill out, bud. In your eyes, this is garbage. But not in everyone else'e. Cellebrate the fact that not everyone thinks the same way you do, my friend. Viv la differance!

  • @K1w1scot Don't worry, I absolutely do not expect everyone to see things my way. I'm not going to change anyone's mind, but no one is going to change my opinion that this film was a sprawling, indulgent, shambolic mess.

  • @SimonFoston i wonder how old you are? because maybe in the 60's this was like our austin powers! and austin powers movies are funny especially if u have watched all the bonds starting with dr no

  • @gspaypal Didn't enjoy the Austin Powers films all that much to be honest. If they'd all been played totally straight, like Airplane or Police Squad, maybe, but I thought they were a bit too broad and obvious.

  • @gspaypal I was talking about his character in the movie, jack wagon. And it's S M A R T.

  • @K1w1scot but airplane/naked gun were funny. They made me laugh.

  • @rw5791 Indeed, indeed. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

  • Daniel Craigs casino royale was 100 times better then this one

  • No i'm afraid I must disagree with you there, since the first James Bond Film, James Bond has always been the Classy, Suave, Dignified, Witty, and Untouchable Character as portrayed by the Greater Bonds, Daniel Craig showed none of the original Bond, Just as Dame Judi Dench can never fill the shoes of the Original "M"

  • I think Daniel Craig is awfull as 007, no humour, no real character he ruins Bond for me just as Tom Cruise ruins Mission Impossible.

I love Judy Dench as an actress normally, but I agree Bernard Lee was "M".

  • I could not agree more. I just read the book. Awesome Novel.

  • epic fail

  • I'm really confussed too this Bond movie is kinda messed up alittle the new Casino Royal with Dainel Crieg is more of a bond movie then 67 movie because alot producers I think were messing around adding stuff that didn't really have anything to do with James Bond like adding cowboys or have alot people be James Bond that's just WRONG!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry

  • This movie is a spoof (hence the cowboys and indians) of Bond films but it is very loosely based on the book. It's not an official Bond picture though. David Niven does play the original real James Bond and was actually who Ian Fleming wanted to play Bond.

  • @dodadue89 David Niven never played james bond from dr no - now! wow i am so surprised u even figured out this wasnt a real james bond movie! u are "SMRT"

  • @dodadue89 that's not completely right. because gregory ratoff buyed the rights of the first book of ian flemming, saltzman and broccoli, the producers of the "official" series, couldn't make a movie based on casino royale. due to law it is an official bond movie, but not by the producers of the famous series.

  • he was unofically bond movies

  • Isn't David Niven James Bond in this film - help me!? I'm so confused!

  • in the film, everybody in the secret service is called James Bond to confuse the enemy hehe...

  • what the hell? who is tat guy? only one james bond is sean connery. not tat guy............

  • for 1967 it was a pretty good flick...

it was a spoof not intended to be like Connery's JB...lol

  • Stupid and boring movie.

  • Woody allen just peaked at one age and stayed exactly the same forever rofl

  • UR wrong 4 that! but right, LOL!

  • Lol anyone think Woody Allen looks just as old here as he does today?

  • I hated so much this movie...

    2 hours terribly wasted

    What a crap!!!

  • haha

  • lol

a girl as james bond? LOL

    A Ribbon is James Bond

    Im James Bond

    Youre James Bond

    We're all James Bond

DAMMIT THE TRUE BONDS ARE SEAN CONNERY AND PIERCE BROSNAN

  • what a tedious trailor

  • yeah

  • Woody Allen is James Bond... Your Mom is James Bond... Harry Potter is James Bond... George W. Bush is James Bond.

Fuck you!!! The only real James Bond is Sean Connery!!!

  • you are absolutely sean connery is the best actor who played as james bond...and i am downloading all his bond movies (7 films).

  • and

what the heck a bunch a oo7 clones

  • yeah the casnio royale 2006 version is more like a 007 movie but this one is crap

  • Just look at it and think Austin Powers... Wonder where Mike Meyers got his idea?

  • moi james bond prefere

  • If you have the ability to hold yourself out at arms length (by the hair on your own head)...and if you were a child of the 50's or 60's, then this film is hilarious.

"You had to have been there," as they say, otherwise you probably won't get it.

My own favorite line/joke comes during the final battle: Jean-Paul Belmondo (as the Legionnaire) slugs an opponent, and then wrings his hand in pain...

He then consults his "French to English" dictionary for proper translation: Oooch!" (Ouch!).

  • Theres even more to the joke than that, what he actually says in French is "merde" which means "sh%t"

  • nice!

  • Overall it's a complete and utter mess (I guess that's what you get with five different directors) but the individual bits are great fun. Good stuff if you're after something cheerful, silly and over-the-top.

  • This version of Casino Royal is one of all time favorites. . .

It's sexy, funny and has wonderful style.

  • This is supposed to be a spoof of the first novel's storyline.

  • casino royale is too much for one James Bond

  • i remember there were 2 casino royale? correct me if i'm wrong.... first one is serious shit and the second one is a fking prank

  • exactly, serious business Casino Royale was in 1954 and remade in 2006. Saw the 2006 premiere!

  • the funniest trailer i have ever seen!

  • Man, I gotta see this movie someday.

  • ыьукыр- is SMERSH on a American kyboard layout LOL , if i wrote it right for real using phonics it would be something competely different dose anyone know traslanted latin for death to spies ( in russian ) it would be fun to know if ian fleming got it right .

  • Whyncha try to make sense?

  • Ah the memories! I loved this movie when it came out and played the music for ages. It was pure Sixties silliness.

  • This film had one of the most impressive casts of stars ever assembled plus beauties galore: Daliah Lavi, Ursula Andress & co.

  • Even for a parody, this picture was a mess from start to finish. Was there actually a script, or did they make it up as they went along?

BTW, it's not "Smirch," it's SMERSH. An acronym for the Russian words for "Death to Spies," it was the name of a real Stalin-era Soviet counterintelligence organization that figured prominently in several of Ian Fleming's original James Bond novels.

  • This movie wasn't bad at all. Just a funny bond spoof.

  • This film is better than the crappy new Casino Royale could ever hope to be. All you kiddies should go see it. I mean, even though this is a parody, it's more faithful to Bond (and the book) than that new trash is.

  • But have you actually *seen* the new Casino Royale?

  • Uh... yeah. It's not what Bond is about at all. It fits in much better with the Bourne series.

  • Actually you are wrong. The new Casino Royale follows the tone of the Ian Fleming book and remains more faithful to the source material. It is everything that the Bond creator envisioned but rarely saw in the screen adaptations. Sorry that it wasn't cartoonish enough with gadgets galore.

  • I've read the fucking book. I know how it is. It aint like the new movie, that's for sure. Bond is not supposed to be an outrageous action hero that does parkour on construction sites and who is an asshole to everyone. He's supposed to be a cool gentleman that charms every man meets and beds every woman. In this he's all emo and hating life. People use the excuse that it's his first mission, but wouldn't that mean he's more friendly? Rather than an angry old man, yes? Yes.

  • Actually the book James Bond was quite a secret asshole to everyone. Reread his thoughts on Vesper helping him out. He sure wasn't keen on people who served him no purpose.

A guy who smokes ten packs of cigarretes a day wouldn't last as a secret agent. James Bond is supposed to be dangerous, and they made him so.

And no, his first mission means that he's young and wreckless. He is truly not James Bond until Vesper doublecrosses him. Did you not read his revelation at the end of the book?

  • Exactly my point, I've also read the fukin books and I can also agree with that.

  • One film critic wrote about this film, "How on earth did so many distinguished actors & actresses get involved in this horrendous mess?". Anyone who sees the film will know exactly what he means, but it is so bad that it is actually fun to watch.

  • WAS IT A PARODY

  • Better! ´It was a wacky comedy:D

  • This is for the Parody of Casino royal

the bond in the original Casino Royale was David Niven (who EON, the company who has produced and owns all bond movies, dd not hire)

  • well, did you know that David Niven before Sean Connery in Dr. No was one of the many candidate to be James Bond for Dr. No. Just imagine David Niven fighting Oddjob instead of Connery or fighting Largo in Thunderball.

  • the REAL Casino Royal- nice post. If you think that this is crap, go to your local Wallmart and purchase a sense of humour.

  • I think this film is good as well, but technically as it wasn't made by MGM it isn't the REAL Casino Royale.

  • How many James Bonds are there...? :) :) :)

  • About seven i think :)

  • @cw3le 24 so far

  • Five directors and boy did it show. Quite a hodge-podge of a movie, and yet it's still kinda fun. Very 1960's.

  • Classic film! ♥

  • I use to love this movie as a kid.

    Still a classic

    Thanks for posting this.

  • the 1st and best james bond spoof of 'em all, Lol, everbody was JamesBond just about!

  • Not Crap - A spoof on the Bond Movies of the time, just like Blazzing Saddles was a spoof to Westerns. Ment to be silly and funny - Not serious.

  • Stupid movie

  • This is not crap.I prefer the vivid mood.

But I also feel that this one doesn't please the public.

I think that It depends on each of the taste.

  • ok?

  • I couldn't find a movie worse than the "Core" until my friend made me watch this atrocity

  • One Word: crap

  • this is crap

  • You are crap!
