I would love to build one of these but what do i need to do? does the package come with step by step instructions? I would really love to see a detailed video tutorial on building one.
not its not... its atmolight, its a Home-brew version of MoMo light by Phillips. Originally designed in Germany using a Simple Serial Output PCB board, and a plugin, that filters the screen colors in a 4 part manner(upper, lower, Most left, Most right) then sends the color signal, then the pcb board, sends the appropriate amount of power to the correct LED/Light(what ever lighting system you choose) and it is dispayed.
if done right. with a LCD/Plasma, it works wonders. PS try w/Nvdia 3d stereo.
Please read the video title and description - this is the MoMoLight system; not amBX, not Atmolight, and not anything else. MoMoLight. It can't be bought ready-made and must be built manually. Check the description for more info.
Cool, I hope philips takes this amBX package to console as they've planned to do in late 2008. Really though this setup is old school, they've had this technology here in China and even Japan for a couple years now...
