I would have done the same as the cop, because I've already seen once, what can happen if you hit a moving car. The driver was shoked, pulled the stearing wheel and ran over a man on the side way. bam, he was instantly dead.

Pulling a gun may seem unnessesary, but think of it this way...they are throwing snowballs across the road, hindering traffic, and when the officer approaches the crowd, he's letting them know he means business. He doesn't know if those are just normal snowballs or not.
Seems silly, until you look at the bigger picture.

It is a Felony to throw "ANYTHING" at a vehicle that is in motion. This type of foolishness has caused serious accidents. As for the big mouths in this video yelling and cussing. Causing this type of disturbance or inciting others is also a crime. Let the police do there jobs and worry about what you are going to do with you lives.

Yes it may be distracting and pretty much anyone that was driving down that street at that time was a cop or someone showing up the join the snowball fight. Pulling a gun over snowballs is retarded it is the completely wrong response to the situation. If they were throwing rocks or snowballs with rocks in them that would have been an appropriate response but that did not happen.

His vehicle could have been damaged, therefore a crime could have been committed him being a police officer, gets out and has his weapon drawn because it could be someone with a weapon someone attacked his vehicle, snowball or not, then he was pelted with numerous snowballs what if a rock was in one? Police misconduct isnt the case here.
