There are no such people. We are not robots, we have individualities. And we are all prone to rebel against a system that tries to erase our personality and turns us into mindless drones (that's exactly what our educational system tried to do before 1989).
Hence - communism is not a good idea. It's an impossible utopia.

Capitalism gives equal chances to those who want to work, socialism robs those who want to work. Therefore, people in socialism will never achieve the standard of living of people under capitalism.

@ArpiCZ That's Marx' definition, not the classical. Look at Proudhon's or Bakunin's socialism - free market, non-aggression and anti-authoritarianism. Socialism only means that ownership of the means of production is collective, and that can be fantastic so long as it is not enforced through tyrant rule.

This is the reason why in western countries was such a huge technological lead of course during socialism in the East . Collectivization is a crime and anyone who tries to bring collective ownership is a criminal.

@ArpiCZ I agree, although I think we mean different things by 'collective ownership'. I am not referring to nationalization, what I mean by 'collective ownership' is worker's self-management. Compensation would still be based upon how much you work, which means that the drawbacks of state socialism wouldn't be there.

Whenever someone calls Obama a Communist, I think of that line in the Manifesto where it says "Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as communistic by its opponents in power?
