Ya know what this movie was missing?..O.J. Simpson....In all seriousness, this is such a classic film. Great contribution by Disney here too, lending memorable visuals to the invisible monster. I still think O.J. would have been scarier though lol.
I wish they would have gone into more detail about the Krell, maybe show us a skeleton, but i guess the felling of how long it has been since their demise adds to show the age of everything and how insignifigant the humans are to the planet, but evil can still lurke at an all time high.
@curtcorum Yes there is and any directors cut and is much to do about nothing--the only thing good 'bout it is that it is LETTERBOX and if u run it on BLUERAY player it looks and sounds good.
I cant watch any videos online from youtube

The voice is that of ROBBY! He is introducing the movie! By-the-way has anyone purchased the D-57 model by POLAR LIGHTS yet and built it?

Forbidden Planet is such a milestone of Science Fiction Cinema!
Full of 1950's optimism about technology and pessimism about human nature...
Is there a director's cut out there with all the deleted special effects scenes?
Thanks!
