Just drink out of the lake or river! Is as earth friendly as you can get! (though you might get sick lol) the best thing you can do as an individual is to buy a re-useable bottle glass or plastic (Plastic is safer) and every time you are going out instead of buy a 2$ bottle of water fill up your re useable and take it with you! And know that your one less person polluting the planet in which you and you family/kids live!
And remember what you do now might not affect you but it WILL effect your
Actually TheRetiredtrucker, "Most" bottled water that you buy is springwater and is not available from a tap! Besides, bottled water is a convenience drink, like sodas, but is much healthier.
Dosent anyone remember when you wanted a drink of water you turned on a tap? Most of the bottled water you buy (if you read the label) is from a municipal water source (tap water)...want to help the environment ,,,stop buying bottled water
