Great vids. Quick question... What are the advantages of running your sling on the end of the receiver vs the provided sling swivel? I am searching for a longer 2 point for my AK. The surplus is too short for me.

I bought the S.O.E single point sling for my Ak47, and i couldn't be more pleased, i like the feel of having the freedom of having the front  of the gun unrestricted, i am currently installing a Quick-Detach, push button swivel.

We do not care for them. It is too easy to get tangled up and they get in the way on reloads.

I second this. I was doing some training a while back with my ar-15 and yeah 3 point slings look all cool and tactical until you pull the rifle up in your workspace for a reload. I spent 1/2 my time fighting the damn thing due to the sling.

I prefer 2pt slings. but I would never wear it simply around the neck like that...Its just strains my neck too much. I wear it with my arm slung through, yeah I know they dont suggest it, and they make VALID points...just I cant wear around my neck like that, literally a "pain in the neck". God bless the guy if he can handle it, but i cant.

The way I wear 2 pts, is just a matter of preference, and I totally accept and understand the disadvantage of the sling getting in your face. Great vid!

Excellent video. I'll check out a bungie two point sling later on. I just got a Gear Sector 2 point sling, it's nice but it is difficult to create slack compared to tightening it up.

I didn't know you were issued Weapons when you arrived at your contractors job. For some reason I thought your used the weapon you were most efficient with and your contractor took care of ammo needs

I got a quick question on thoes 2 point bungee slings dosent seem that you have to switch to your pistol dosent look like it gives you much room to maneuver and draw your pistol if you gotta do close qaurters shooting? Is there a special way to draw it with a two point sling?
