i thought that kompa wasn't so good , but the rhythm is fucking awesome , makes me want to dance , congrats to the new president , btw i am dominican.
I was just a kid, i'm 24 now but i remember how people would go crazy over this song, gosh lol. First time i dance to this song was at a club in Miami and i can remember closing my eyes and smiling, wishing the song wouldn't end.
Seeing this video and hearing just make me wanna close my eyes and dream of the great times we had playing this song in every house party we went to. New York was amazing when this song droped. 92 i think, i was just a kid.

You have to understand this song to cry everytime you hear it. Micky is talking about a Girl at the same time his talking about Haiti. I went to a Micky bal back in 2000 in Haiti, and he was performing that song, tears came down my eyes not cause i was sad but cause i love that song, and the message in that song, and the time that song came out, i was in the zone lol lol.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! this video took me back so back into my roots I LOVE THIS VIDEO AND HAITI as well i am a proud haitian i dont act no less than what i am
its funny cause we was 20 minutes before landing in Haiti, and i was listening to music on my Ipod, and the song that came next while i could look at Haiti from above was this song, I left when i was 8, and this was last year when i went back, im 25 now. I felt like that song was about me missing Haiti, i felt like crying. This song is so big. oh by the way i had a blast for my fisrt trip back to Haiti, i went in August, wow what a crazy ass time i had. I love Micky. Haiti all day baby.
This song will always stay in my heart, its a special song. I was on my way to Haiti for the first time since i left when i was 8, and i was listening to this song on my Ipod, oh the feeling i got that moment was like no other, i felt like crying, i felt the song was talking to me.
