The moves in something like WWE are a lot more dangerous. They involve jumping on and applying a lot of pressure to the spine. Accidents do happen, and at least half of the moves in WWE if performed outside the ring would result in instant death.
MMA is about combat and sport. Most of the deadly moves from historical martial arts are removed or made less dangerous. Many martial arts in the world are still designed to kill and severely injure, we just don't see it in UFC.

The moves in something like WWE are a lot more dangerous. They involve jumping on and applying a lot of pressure to the spine. Accidents do happen, and at least half of the moves in WWE if performed outside the ring would result in instant death.
MMA is about combat and sport. Most of the deadly moves from historical martial arts are removed or made less dangerous. Many martial arts in the world are still designed to kill and severely injure, we just don't see it in UFC.
