  • Nice video! Well I think you've built a work horse. I like the "V" blade. But it looks inefficient. Not the splitter but the combination. That tractor is probably producing 30+ horsepower at idle. I'm sure that you know your machine better than I do. But it seems to be more than sufficient. And It looks like the wheels are in the way of loading it. That's gotta be bad for your back. Have you thought of using a PTO driven pump so you can still have the flow rate and cycle time, but less RPM?

  • woe! thats some splitter! I have just been using a cone type splitter that goes on my truck wheel. I dont have a tractor or money hahha, but it works ok. It doesnt cut the wood but spreads it nicely.
