I somewhat disagree on the concept of gay marriage but in reality-unless we begin a Theocracy-I do not think one could stop a man marrying a man and vice versa. this is the first time I've ever agreed with this Santorum idiot. anyone ever wonder why diabetes, cancer, morbid obesity, autism, heart disease, etc. was almost non-existent 100 years ago? hmm... the problem isn't with health care, it's the scary trend of unhealthy habits (of which I am 100% guilty as well). it also doesn't help that the gov. makes it almost illegal to grow fresh food.

"Marriage existed before there was a government." Yeah, but at that point the churches decided what marriage was, not the feds. He just destroyed his own argument. If that's the case, why can't churches again decide who's married and who isn't, or the states at least. Is it the government's job to mandate the family or the responsibility of families? Is this guy a conservative? People have a right to die because they don't have health care, but they don't get to decide what family values are.

The US population has been GROWING around +3million per year. Naturally, the number of deaths will go up... as well as every other statistic.

By Rick stating that he would ban any American from marrying another, man or woman, he has already stated that he will not uphold his oath of office to defend the Constitution of the United States. The Federal Government has no right to tell anyone who they can or can't marry. It's not their JOB.

Paul, as an OB Dr. he is against abortion BUT he has stated publicly many times that he knows that it is NOT the place of the Federal Government to regulate abortion. He believes it's the states right to decide, not the federal government. That allows people to move to a state that allows it if they choose to do so.  He's against drugs too but he knows it's not the federal governments place to regulate them either.
