This song incorporates the bass guitar technique "thumb slapping," the tapping technique, as well as a flamenco technique known as "rasgueado."

Most of the song I learned just by watching the original video of Justin King performing it. After that it was watching some covers that let me discern the small details that made the song.

If you mean slap harmonics, yes. I've gotten that a lot, but yeah I am slapping the twelfth fret. I hit the fret and immediately release my hand, so it looks like I hit some other area

that is the name of a person and a brand of guitar that King was using on the show in the clip you see all over the Internet.
