  • Excelente!!!!!,felicidades y grcias por compartir la bella musica.

  • is it a hohner? it has the hohner button half but the other half without the bass buttons ive never seen!

  • @jmp6996 Yes, it's a Hohner Corona I model, produced in the late 70's for a short time.

  • EN LA MUSICA DE AMERICA DEL NORTE(DE MEXICO PARA ARRIVA)NO SE USAN LOS BAJOS EN EL ACORDION,,SE USAN EN MUSICA FRANSESA ,ALEMANA,HITALIANA,Y EN EL CASO DE AMERICA DEL SUR EN MUSICA COLOMBIANA ,TANGOS ARGUENTINOS,Y BARIOS MAS

  • This is the only way is should be done!!! Y no digo mas

  • PUEDES CONSEGUIRME ESTA ROLA ESTA MUY PADRE DEJA ALGUN LINK PERO CON ESTE ARTISTA OK

  • EXACTLY WHY HE'S 1 OF MY IDOLS

  • beoutifull ritme-accordeon greetings from Holland

  • en que tono es la acordeon compadre

  • F,Bb,Eb

  • I luv dis jam!

  • Outstanding inspiring music!! Love it!!!!Makes me want to dance!!!

  • Cool!!

  • Ay nomas va el chavo. se avienta el bato. You da MAN Joel.

  • An enguaging performace is worth more than billiant technic.

  • valen madre los comentarios lo chido es la musica ,que el estilo, que si fulano es mejor, que las influencias todo vale madre lo que importa es que la musica suene bien

  • I've met Joel and Max a few times and both are real nice guys. Sarah is also nice, posing for pics and giving autographs. Max shared a few Bajo Sexto tips, very great people to represent TEJANOS!!

  • mamalon!!

    y eso es pura improvisacion!

  • "style doesnt come from your background"? That's about all I need to hear to stop commenting on this topic. So much for you to learn.

  • If his music is too American...maybe it's because he's American. Some people call it style...you know, it's what seperates you from sounding like everyone else. It comes from a combination of education, experience, and influence.

Los Maestros you mentioned....todos PESADOS...sin duda....but not gods as you mentioned. Only one GOD amigo and he's not a Conjunto or Norteño accordionist.

    PEACE!

  • style doesnt come from your background, it comes from the music you play and the way you carry yourself while playing it.

  • WELL SAID Karlitos! only ONE God, bro!

  • Karlitos-Is this fool joking? Style doesn't come from your background? Last time I checked my style of bass guitar playing came from one of my uncles and some of the greats that have blessed my ears with such great sounds.

But I guess "Professor Style" knows what that is better than I do?

    Peace,

    dj KALAMBRE

    Olympia,WA

  • Tu dilé carnal KALAMBRE!

  • this guy does show off too much. plus his music is too americanized. and hes not all that great in the accordion. i want him to go up against the real gods of the accordion RUBEN VELA, GILBERTO PEREZ, RAMON AYALA

  • Id pick Joel... sorry. and the fact that he is americanized is what I really like.

  • First off, his music isn't americanized. Because if you knew anything about Mr. Guzman or was a fan of his, all of his recordings have brought the many styles of accordion playing that he has learned to those albums and some recordings have paid tribute to the tejano accordionist before him.

  • Secondly, when Vela, Perez and Ayala can prove they can go outside of their genre like Mr. Guzman can combine the many styles and genres of accordion playing from across the world into their recordings and performances, then you'll have a real argument. Until then just sit back and watch and listen how accordion is being played!

  • styles ther are many but then again your uncle has a unique style that if you know goes to the true italian accordion playing and then the rest is all heart and soul.....Ramon ,Vela, villareal, are good in there own way and have been here for years but Joel is an inovator of many styles....he is one of the greats...

  • This guy is Carlos Santana en la accordion

  • Pleas ,don't be exaggerated, the true Acordeon Masters, are in the "Festival de la leyenda Vallenata", eventhough this man has a great thecnic.

  • "Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata" a bunch of accordion master hopefuls that wished they had the musical talent and education Joel has!

When those players can combine the different styles and genres that Joel does in one song then they are masters but until I've seen it well congratulations on being second best!

  • you are very right

  • You know; I'd like to see a "VALLENATO MASTER" try to interpret a polka the way Bernal did it or the way Oskar Hndz and Esteban Jordan do it.

  • great great great!!!

  • mamalón!!

    y eso es pura improvisación.

  • AWESOME COMPADRE!

  • That solo at 3:00 is unbelievable. The way he just throws this stuff out.

  • good one amigo carlos!

gretz to joel desde monterrey mexico tu amigo junior lopez

  • too much showing off !! joel is good accordion but plays around too much JMO... great either way

  • it's called being a great musician and showman and that his so called "playing around" shows that he doesn't want to be considered another lame accordion player like so many out there and he wants his fans to enjoy what he gives them every time he steps onto stage and performs. It's obvious to me you've never seen a full performance?
