For some strange reason, my favorite of all Mozart's symphonies. An exceptionally happy work of art.

@polymath7 WAM composed so many brilliant works - The last five symphonies are incredible, unequalled. Yet, #17 stirs so much in my mind and my heart that I have to call it my favorite.

I agree. Each had his own era. I like 1) JS Bach 2) Mozart and 3) Beethoven.

Maybe thats because I prefer the Baroqe era.......no horns. Great to see opinion on this wonderful music.
