Alcohol, tobacco, and pot have effects quite aside from which one "kills" more. I'd prefer as an employer, to find that my work force was made up of frequent drinkers off the clock than heavy marijuana users. And tobacco doesn't induce altered behavior nearly the way marij. does, especially over time. The latter has been linked to a much higher occurrence of mental illness among it's users than tobacco or alcohol. But to marij.'s credit it has shown no signif. link to cancer like tobacco.
