  • DeWalt... Guaranteed Trash!! Seems like more and more people are seeing the light on DeWalt.... Thanks to good people like you who share their experience the rest of us who haven't invested money in their garbage won't have to go through this. Seems like Ridgid and Bosch is the way to go.

  • Dewalt are shite!!!! the only people who say otherwise are too proud to say they bought crap.

Been in the building trade 32 years and have watched other people use dewalt for a while but they all swap to Bosch or hitachi, panasonic or milwaukee because dewalt just do not last.

  • Mine just stopped ..kaput, nada nothing. I think it ceased. But it does not work. Piece of crap.

  • from my understanding dewalt tools are just yellow black and deckers if that tells you anything

  • I'm a bit of a fan of Dewalt but have also had problems with there products ( circular saw and battery drill ) , but in the end they replaced them. Its a shame that they don't realise the effect this comment can have on future sales as I will think twice about buying Dewalt

  • @chippiejorgia I've been a pretty regular user of Dewalt tools also. I have their "corded" drills and router and I've been reasonbly pleased. Although the speed control on the router, right out of the box, felt flimsy and cheap. But it works fine. . . for now.

The compressor however, I made a mistake in not getting an AMSE certified tank (much thicking tank wall). I just got torked that it was made paper thin to save a buck.

    Buyer beware.
