@pillaludemus It's all filmed in game. 1:34 is obviously staged for the trailer but it can easily occur in a normal match as attack helicopter crews often communicate over VOIP and you can hover far enough away to attack the enemy by surprise.

@saamohod the spanner no longer works to repair vehicles. they have to be returned to base, or a repair station has to be dropped next to them. spanner only works to defuse AT mines and stuff now.

Nice but not exactly "reality". I saw so many unreal things in this video. Like dropping way too high out of a chopper, exiting a vehicle with its doors closed etc. The mod might be good but it's near impossible to achieve "reality" in a BF mod. The game engine just isn't suited for simulator style gaming. Example: Fly a PR jet and then go try a real flight sim. You'll see a huge difference. Guess which one is closer to realistic?

Fairly old video, and no, when you make a game you don't aim on making it realistic in the sense that doors would open. It's really good though, the teamwork, how every single player communicates through VOIP and there are so many things to simulate reality, as good as can be with the BF2 engine.

Though if you haven't tried the mod and you think it's anything like BF2, you'll be pleasantly surprised.
