@lemonrind  This procedure is part of the General Code of Operating Rules, specifying how to approach and cross a malfunctioning road crossing signal and/or gate. Under this procedure, the train is required to stop before crossing the specified location and provide manual flag protection across the crossing--something that's hard to do on MSTS.

This is a bad crossing in general. Not only was that one guy an idiot, but if you notice trains going the other way would hit cars too.

Damn it, the crossing gates was supposed to close BEFORE the train is to cross on the track! STUPID MALFUNCTIONING Crossing gates! Please don't blame the driver because the crossing gates didn't close sooner until the last minute as the train was already starting up!

hmmmmmm the gates malfunctioned! That is extremely dangerous!!! If you notice that the gates were supposed to be lowered before the train could proceed, in order to stop traffic. However, the gates did not lower themselves so the cars proceeded to cross unaware that the train was already moving. This is something one should notice before suggesting the wrong title for this video.
