Sonam is correct in some sense, if you think about deepika's roles in her movies, they weren't huge! ESP bachna ae haseeno, minisha and bipasha had meatier roles than deepika! And lets not go their with CC2C. Sonam even though she's had 2 flops, the critics have always said that her acting is good and she's someone to watch out for regardless of how crap the story was.
