hi, i just wanted to let you know that i feel your pain because my father did me the same way i also live in hazard and i know how hard it is to overcome, but i faced him in court and won. afterwards his side of the family disowned me, spat in my face, threw beer bottles at me and cursed me as a child....now, as an adult they treat my children as if they don't exist. i will not say that it has been an easy battle for me but you have to stay strong. and see it through.

I don't know why someone gave you a thumbs down. Female abusers are a lot more common than people realise - statistics are irrelevant here as they only count REPORTED cases of abuse. But of course most males would not report it
I know how you feel my father and mother did this to me and I got lost inside myself and for got who I was I now have two people who are helping me go though the pain and to bring me out and take care of me but it's hard to trust them or anyone.

If it turns out to be b.s., better safe than sorry. I had a situation I feel guilt over because I heard accusations about a father and didn't act because it didn't seem likely to me. I still don't know if it's true or not, but wish I had initiated an investigation.
