@dfsvsfdsf This model has been discontinued for awhile and is no longer available. It did not offer an auxiliary audio input out of the box, but you could use an optional adapter (KCA-121B) to convert the Ai-Net port on the back into a pair of female RCA audio inputs. Feel free to call for additional assistance: 800.315.0030--Crutchfield
hi i am looking to purchace one of these units, but first i would like to know how the alpine stands in sound shapng filters.
have had a few alpines in the past 9812rb 9835rb, was just wandering if this unit has a built in high pass filter, and also if this can be alltered differently for both front and rear ie 80hz front 125hz rear.
yes it does have a high pass filter and it can be selected between front and back, but other than that i dont see anything attractive about the deck, not for that price anyways.
To determine which speakers fit a car we not only look at the speaker size, but also the exact dimensions, such as mounting height, cutout diameter, depth, and more.
The Alpine REF speakers stick out too far, (mounting height problem). Now, there are creative ways to overcome the mounting height problem and make these speakers fit, but we only recommend you do that if you are an experienced installer.
I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora and I choose to go with this head unit and I want all my components to match but for some reason your website keeps saying the 63/4 component speakers from Alpine (REF edition) will not fit but I can fit 6 3/4 speakers. Why??/
is there a aux jack in the front of this unit or do you have to use a connector from behind ran through your glove box?

I hope that helps.
